Paul Rusesabagina
Paul Rusesabagina s a Rwandan humanitarian who, while working as a house manager at the Hôtel des Mille Collines in Kigali, hid and protected 1,268 Hutu and Tutsi refugees from the Interahamwe militia during the Rwandan genocide. None of those refugees were hurt or killed during the attacks.
But there are some people who claims that Paul Rusesabagina story is a fraud.Here are some of the claims;
" Apparently, the story is not true. A certain number of refugees who stayed in that hotel said that this guy was an opportunist, and if you failed to pay, you were thrown out of the hotel. There are people out there who are very angry with him. According to them, he is not the hero he claims to be. "
" He saved many lives?? No he did not. They were saved by international diplomacy and the genocidaires’ military setbacks. He merely used extortion to take advantage of the situation while it lasted. He has now found another way to continue taking advantage of it by using the movie."
" I personal know a survivor of this genocide and she had family who failed to provide money to Paul for staying there and was kicked out and now assumed dead so I mean..... not to say he didn't save all those other people. He did and that's honorable but in turn he wasn't the best man "
