The phenomenon of couples looking alike after getting married for a long period of time is known as SPOUSAL CONCORDANCE.
Couples begin to share some physical resemblance as a result of years of having sexual intimacy. After years of repeated sexual intimacy, couples can exchange certain components during sex, which may subtly influence their physical appearance over time.
During intimacy, there is an exchange of bodily fluids, hormones, and even microbiomes, which can have small but long-term effects on the body.
One leading explanation for this phenomenon is assortative electricity supply. Subconscious cues of genetic compatibility.
Couples copying each other, often after getting married couples develop similar eating and drinking habits, and leisure activities. Some even have the similar response style to certain life decisions.
These shared routines leave similar marks and wrinkles on their faces, enhancing their resemblance over time.
Now I understand why the bible says the "two shall become one flesh."
