Use your damn brains kenya is a major source of FDI for tz, UGANDA AND RWANDA.YOUR ECONOMY BASE IS SMALL AND HAS WIDE AREAS OF EXPANSION AND VIRGIN AREAS MR. SLOW.Infact KENYA no 3 IN TZ, NO. 1 IN RWANDA AND NO. 2 IN UGANDA, coz the economy is more developed and richer than tz.
So, mr stupid now that its plain clear your lies have no place in these forums, you expected us too keep quite while you misinform people about the TZ economy, you have decided to bring excuses.
i see your kettle calling pot black., how big is Kenyan Economy? $200B,$2Tr?
go send your overdrive ego else where, since it's sad you can't stand having TZ beating you in minor issues like FDI and GDP growth.
your argument of small base doesn't seem to apply to China, as its beating UK in FDI and GDP growth, while its Economy is bigger?how do you account for Ethiopia beating Kenya with a bigger GDP than Kenya?all it leads to is your excuses are lame. with the economy you are either performing or under-performing. a GDP in tens of Billions of $s shouldn't even yap about being big enough to justify mediocre growth or lack of FDI, get to work, stop wasting time here, you are one of the reason for that mediocre growth.
UJINGA HAUNA DAWA. you compare yourself na china!excuse me. compare yourself to malawi.kenya haipo league moja na tz. the US and UK econ are older and deeper than china. the pace of growth may be higher in china but the econ spread can not much UK and US, the disposable incomes are still higher and will take China a long time to attain this level mr. know all.
Kenyan econ is bigger and dipper than all EAC countries. thats why your boasting of high FDI boils down to kenya contributing a big chunk to each EAC country. now go swallow a razor, yako ni vita ya kijinga bila facts not debating shinda ya watz wote ni inferiority complex, lakini tena hamna dawa.
So which league is Kenya in? last time i checked Uhuru was summoned by US same way our Vasco Da Gama was, the only difference between TZ and Kenya Economic wise is one country keeps day dreaming of being a super economic power while in reality it GDP is just minute even by poor African Continent standards. No body boasted of TZ FDI standards, i just helped to correct your wrong information which conveniently changed tone after being busted out. I thought you would hold your ground and keep insisting on your initial false claims.you keep changing posts to observations that keeps being wrong.
The only dude showing his complex is you with claiming about superiority no one asked you off, when you are superior people will notice you wont need shouting.
SO Mr. Goal post changer now it appears for you an economy to be impressive it has to be older.your history lessons are as short as your intelligence, if we were to compare country's economy age. Then US has nothing to do on China and so is UK, China was one of the world's biggest economies just before the end of the 19th century. Oh, you didn't know that, because apparently for you Chinese history started in 1960s.
Go read History, and you would realize China has been a Nation from 5,000 years ago while USA was a pile of trees and red Indians just 400 years ag😵h, you can't comprehend 400 years ago, that was when those Chinese merchants were roaming around the world with their impeccable riches, by the way they settled in Lamu and many east African ports, go read Kenyan History books you would probably learn of old Chinese traces, in your own country's coastal areas. You probably didn't know that.
I really shouldn't reply to the cheap rhetoric you spew out, but i hate misinformation as much as i hate corruption and human stupidity.
when your ready for a fact based debate utarudi otherwise arguing with a fool nobody will know the difference.tanzania narudia tena ni league ya malawi na wenzake. kama unaumwa na ukweli omba nafasi kwa gazeti.
no 2. rudi nyumbani kwa lugha ya kiswahili, sikuelewi. your trying very hard to use english and its so pathetic your whole paragraph is ending sounding like French. its making no sense.its torture trying to make out what you are trying to communicate.
let me make myself clear. kenya leads in FDI outflows in EAC. inflows from sister countries is almost zero. no.2. Tanzania leads in FDI inflows in EAC. no3. kenya is among the top source of FDI in tz, uganda, rwanda and burundi. no4. kenya has the most developed and diversified economy in EAC.
..halafu wanapenda vitu vibovu-bovu substandard.
..sijui kama umeona ule uwanja wa ndege wa Mbeya.
..uwanja ule uko kama godown.
This is not the first time a Kenyan resorts to Hiding behind a Lingua franca picked up from his colonial master upon realizing that, he/she has nothing to offer on the table.
So, after getting schooled on Economics and history of your own country, you somehow believe you would come out on top on English?you must be funny, as this country (UK) has been my backyard for longer your age probably.I am not in this forum to be judged by how well i compose my grammar nor how a Kenyan who's only interaction with English is from his master could try and muster. As i probably once told a fellow Kenyan mate of yours, i stopped being proud of my English abilities about 30+ years ago, when i learned that Oriental languages, like Japanese and Chinese, offered me a better intellectual capacity than the likes of English, Spanish or Swahili,
I will not waste anymore time discussing my language superiority with you, you are not worthy of that.
First lie In blue, these data from the WB says a lot about the state of Kenyan Economy.
There is Kenya country level (sorry it seems you are dubbed "low income") those world bank cronies must not know Kenya is a GIANT.
Kenya | Data
and here is Tanzania's
Tanzania | Data
tell me between these two countries based on poverty % and GDP growth curves which one is looking better?
Back to your FDI argument am now getting used to your goal post shifting, But as Usual you do realise what Kimweri is going to do to you. EXPOSE your lies.
Second Lie in red, Kenya FDI investments in TZ were $1.5B, well, Kenya did not invest such amount in the past 3 years as per world bank data, as its entire FDI outflows are basically 0.0 percent of GDP or too small to care, the only place you would see the $1.5B figure is from a Kenyan Blog or a clear misquote.
Tanzania received an average of $1.7B FDI for the past 3-4 years Kenya can not possibly invest $1.5B of that amount. at any of these years, as everyone knows what the big investors in Tanzania are.and how can a country invest $1.5B and it doesnt show in any WB data?how can kenya invest $1.5B and not become the number one FDI source in TZ?since $1.5B is 88% of the total FDI received in TZ.
and here is your lies exposed.
Foreign direct investment, net outflows (% of GDP) | Data | Table
absolute Zero % FDI, where is the mighty $1.5B?to make matters worse it has been 0.0% for the past few years.this means if there is any FDI from Kenya its basically in 10's of millions, which is what you loud mouthed Kenyan think its what deserves to be mentioned as massive.PATHETIC. if you do not know in TZ our politicans call these moneys vijisenti, and such investments are made on daily basis by Tanzanian businesses in China, Congo, Malawi, Zambia etc.the reason TIC doesn't waste time mentioning them is because they are irrelevant.minute.
FYI Tanzania FDI outflow, ilicit is more than $900M, refer to mabilioni ya Uswisi here in JF, Hence Tanzanians actually loathe when much needed $$$$ get out of their country.
And please stop measuring some useless metrics for a "low Income" country like Kenya, FDI, outflow is a metric that developed countries use to associate investment activites outside their countries. this trying to emulate how an elephant poop will render your "as&** obsoletle.
2 IN UGANDA, coz the economy is more developed and richer than tz.
cant waste my precious time reading this no brain argument from you. let me give a piece of real stuff.your inferiority complex will kill you.naupenda upuuzi unaoandika hapa kujariba kukimbia historical truths. napendezwa pia na ufahamu wako wa kiingereza ambao ni fedheha tupu ilihali ungetumia kiswahili ungejieleza kirahisi na kueleweka kikamilivu.
Kenya's GDP accounts for 40 percent of the region's GDP, followed by Tanzania at 28 percent, Uganda at 21 percent, Rwanda at 8 percent, and lastly Burundi at 3 percent.
Tanzania, Uganda Grab Bigger Share of EAC's Foreign Capital
The list of Tanzania's top FDI sources would also be interesting for Rwanda as it features UK (23%), India (15%), Kenya (15), and Neth-erlands 10%, China 10%, USA 10%, South Africa 7%, Canada 5%, Germa-ny 3%, and Oman 2%

Do you read yourself?? Do you know what you're writing?? From the FDI outflow coming to share of GDP in EA. Post shifter as Kimweri said prior. Lets talk facts not abusive languages.
Ndugu waltham, now that your lies and misinformation has been exposed, don't fell shy to apologies to members of these forums, if you posses any form of manners in you.
Fellow Tanzanians, Kenya and Tanzanian are both very poor countries, its hard to comprehend how poor these two countries are unless you have lived in these so called "developed" countries for considerable times.
But, most of the times some fraudster Kenyans like waltham would paint Kenya as if all is merry there, i have been to Kenya many times, and all i have seen are minor differences to Tanzania, they are slightly ahead in many sectors due to having an open economy ahead of TZ, but that's about it. There is nothing "Giant" about them, and contrary to popular Kenyan driven Belief, they do not contribute to our Economy (as proved by World Bank Data) as much as they shout every time they get a chance, China, SA,UK, US,India, EU could have those bragging rights not Kenya. Sending $2M in investment across the border is similar to 2-3 Tanzanians buying expensive properties in Nairobi. Its non news. The fact that these wannabes would count $2M in FDI outflows, shows how desperate they are to portray an image that is just not there. Don't be surprised though, that's how most of them are. Cats who wish were Tigers.

Ethiopia, Kenya Maintains Top Two Position in East Africa in FDI
Ethiopia and Kenya have become top in the East Africa Region in attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in 2013, said the United Nations World Investment Report 2014.
FDI growth in these two nations has helped the region's FDI growth by 15 percent as a whole and generated 6.2billion USD, indicated in the report.
According to the latest UNCTAD report, FDI inflows into Africa rose by four per cent to $57 billion with Nigeria's inflow standing at N5.6 billion in 2013.
The report said only seven countries in Africa went above the $3 billion FDI inflow point. They are Nigeria, South Africa, Mozambique, Egypt, Morocco, Ghana and Sudan
Ghana attracted the most FDI projects at 50.5 per cent followed by Kenya at 40.1 per cent. Uganda registered a 20.1 per cent increase in FDIs while Tanzania recorded a 22.8 per cent rise.
Over all, the number of FDI projects in Rwanda, Mozambique, Tanzania and Uganda were up by more than 20 per cent in 2013, the report indicated.

Yes, exactly Mkuu. TZ can do it as well. Why not?..kwanini tusi-focus kwenye vyote?
..what is so difficult ku-focus kwenye bandari, reli, airport, barabara, etc?
..mbona Ethiopia, Kenya, Angola, wanaweza?
..kama hao wenzetu wanaweza, sioni kwanini sisi tusema hatuwezi.
NB:
