it's not just dating, I think sex and alcohol is allowed by God. you see, the bible was written a long time ago, and the rules God gave men were to help them better themselves. sex was not allowed between unmarried people simply because man would have been intoxicated by it (as seen in Sodom and Gomorrah) and to also protect women from the wild things men can become. how we live nowadays greatly differs with how people lived back in the old days. women are more respected and their role in the family more understood. I believe sex between two people who are dating and may end up getting married is not a sin. what is a sin is to sell your body (as its Gods temple), to sleep with somebodies wife/ husband ( thou shalt not covet) and to have many sexual partners (again with the coveting and the body as Gods temple).
a little alcohol never killed anybody. its getting drunk that brings all sorts of things. God did not say we should not drink alcohol (and Jesus did drink wine on several occasions), he advised against the vices of getting drunk .
to sum up my argument, The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17)
