Are there any difference between Digital storage facilities and Data storage devices

Help me out this two things confuse me I don't get it when they say digital storage facilities what are they?
 
Actually no! The parts are smaller than their whole and the vice versa is true (the whole is greater than its parts). However, not all data is digital!
 
Maybe if by facilities they mean the physical location so a Data Center is a Digital Storage facility like a Hospital is a medical care facility.
 
Or to say it in a different way. A digital storage facilty can be a datacenter with many data storage devices. Datacenters are typically used by large corporations or government agencies as either their primary data storage facility or as a Back-up/disaster recovery site.

Due to the sensitive nature of their business they typically have strong physical security, access control, extensive power back-up.

Data centers can come in quite handy but are a bit expensive to build :A S embarassed:
