Shock and grief have engulfed residents of Nyantungu Cell in Bukiiro Town Council, Mbarara District, following the death of a 10 year old Primary Two pupil in an apparent suicide by hanging.The deceased has been identified as Isaac Zamukama, a pupil at Nyantungu Primary School and the son of Didas Nuwagiira.
According to Bukiiro Town Council Mayor David Kitengye, the child reportedly had a misunderstanding with his elder brother shortly before the incident.
The circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation, with authorities expected to establish what happened before the child was found dead.
