There was no access to the Internet as we know it until after 1990. And that was in USA.

Whatever we had before was simple commands and exchange of data between scientists and military researchers in developed nations.

Kindly provide me the kind of Internet service provider they used at the postal service in 1983 in Tanzania to access the Internet as we know it today.

What kind of information were you able to access?

I used the first ISP in 1997, it was raha.com and it was slow as hell (dial -up).

Did you access a faster one pre-'97?

And you can't claim to "build" a computer and call it "your own"when it's called "Toshiba".

If you lagged intechnology it does not mean every one else was lagging with you. Do not forgetthe global purpose of internet is access to information.
