Tenasco insurance

I remebeber in 2010 january tennesco employees had an insurance of about twenty million each,but to my surprise this year in may 2011 that insurance was abrutly cancelled citing that it was expensive, i pretty sure this was just one of the ways for ccm to get money from tennasco for there campaigns with the pretence of insurance,this time tennasco are advocating for the tarrifs to be hiked by more than 150%,is this reasonable?
