Russia is now one of the major agricultural exporters in the world, President Vladimir Putin has said while meeting with Russian farmers.

On Tuesday, the president arrived in Stavropol Region, southern Russia, where he met with the employees of the Solnechny Dar greenhouse complex of the Eco-Culture agro-industrial holding.

“We have become the fourth country in the world in terms of exporting agricultural products, and the first in the world in terms of [exporting] wheat,” Putin said, noting that revenue from such exports on the global market amounted to $43.5 billion. Russia is also one of the leaders in terms of meat production, he added.

According to Putin, this is the first time in the country’s history that the agricultural sector has achieved such results. At the same time, the president noticed the need to boost production of tomatoes and some other types of products, so as not to depend on imports.

Hero of Russia soldier hits US-made Abrams, making it third such tank to be destroyed

NOVOSIBIRSK, March 5.
Russian soldier from the Novosibirsk-based special forces brigade has struck another US-made Abrams tank, bringing the total number of destroyed US tanks to three.

"His commander wrote to me," said Panfyorov, who is a member of the Novosibirsk Region legislature. "There was a strike on an Abrams."

"It was a precise strike. The distance to the target was about 6 kilometers. The strike was at night," the lawmaker went on to say.

"He is a Hero of Russia and he continues to beat the enemy. There is probably as many as two enemy companies that he has destroyed," he continued.

The soldier destroyed as many enemy vehicles.

A Russian Su-27 fighter was scrambled to escort a group of French Air Force aircraft over the area of the Black Sea, the Russian Ministry of Defenсe said.

"The crew of the Russian fighter identified the air targets as an E-3F long-range radar detection and control aircraft (AWACS) and two Rafale C multi-role fighters of the French Air Force. As the Russian fighter approached, the foreign military aircraft turned away from the State border of the Russian Federation and left the airspace above the waters of the Black Sea,” the department said.

The flight took place in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace. The Russian fighter did not make a dangerous approach to the foreign aircraft.

Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the number of flights of Western combat and reconnaissance aircraft over the Black Sea has increased. On February 22, a British reconnaissance aircraft RC-135 Rivet Joint was spotted near Crimea. The plane was escorted by two Eurofighter Typhoon fighters.

A US Navy aircraft was spotted near Crimea in late January when the Ukrainian military attacked the peninsula. The American plane was flying over the Black Sea coast of Romania, about 250 kilometres from the western part of Crimea. Its track began in Sicily near Sigonella US Naval Air Station.

It is believed that Western aircraft try to collect strategic information and transfer it to Kyiv for further attack

Mkuu wa Ujasusi wa Ukraine, Kirill Budanov amepata mafunzo ya CIA tokea mwaka 2014. Huku ikifahamika kwamba uchumi wa Urusi unachuana na wa Ujerumani kwenye Purchasing Power Parity (PPP).
