Baada ya sehemu ya mbele ya jengo la kitalii la Beit Al-Ajaib kuporomoka jana, Serikali ya Mapinduzi ya Zanzibar imesema itaunda Tume Maalum ya Uchunguzi kubaini kilichotokea, na kuishauri Serikali hatua stahiki za kuchukua
Aidha, Wizara ya Urithi na Utalii ya Oman ambayo inafadhili ukarabati wa jengo hilo nayo imesema itaunda Timu kujua sababu za sehemu ya kuporomoka kwake, na hatua zinazotakiwa kuchukuliwa haraka ili kulilinda
Wizara ya Utalii na Mambo ya Kale Zanzibar imesema itafanya jitihada zote kwa yenyewe binafsi au kwa msaada wa wahisani kuhakikisha jengo hilo linarudi lilivyokuwa awali

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism on Friday issued a statement following the partial collapse of Beit Al Ajaib building or popularly known as the House of Wonders in Zanzibar.
In a statement issued online by the Ministry said “The Ministry, with regret, followed up the partial collapse of the Beit Al-Ajaib in Zanzibar. As the Ministry, is the funding body for the comprehensive restoration, maintenance and rehabilitation project, it will form a team to find out the causes and determine the urgent and necessary measures to preserve and protect the building from any additional repercussions.”
Meanwhile, His Excellency Salim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism has informed that the Royal holdings were transferred to a safer location.
