Benjamin Netanyahu visiting the East Jerusalem settlement of Har Homa,

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyhau said Monday that if he were to be reelected, a Palestinian state would not be created, in a definite disavowal of his 2009 speech, in which he had voiced support for the principle of two states for two peoples.

Netanyahu's remarks in an interview with the NRG website - which is owned by casino mogul Sheldon Adelson and tied with the settler newspaper Makor Rishon - were a last-minute attempt to pull right-wing voters away from Habayit Hayehudi.

"I think that anyone who moves to establish a Palestinian state and evacuate territory gives territory away to radical Islamist attacks against Israel," Netanyahu said. "The left has buried its head in the sand time and after time and ignores this, but we are realistic and understand."

During the interview, Netanyahu declared that if the Zionist Union were to win the elections, "it would attach itself to the international community and do their bidding," including freezing construction in West Bank and East Jerusalem settlements, and cooperate with international initiatives to return Israel's borders to the 1967 lines.

During a visit to the East Jerusalem settlement of Har Homa earlier Monday, Netanyahu warned that if he were not elected, "Hamastan B." would be established in Jerusalem. "If Tzipi [Livni] and Bougie [Isaac Herzog] form a government, Hamastan B will be established here."

He also slammed Jewish-American businessman Danny Abraham, one of the primary financiers of the V-15 campaign to flip the Israeli government. Netanyahu did not mentioned Abraham by name, but said that the primary financier of V-15 has come to his office in the past and tried to convince him not to build in East Jerusalem.

"I said to him – have you ever been in Har Homa? He said no, and that it was a dangerous settlement. I suggested he go there and said he would make it in time, that he wouldn't be late to the meeting. They took him to the car, returned to the office, and rolled on the floor with laughter. The man was prepared to go to Sinai and couldn't believe that the car stopped after seven minutes and that he had reached his destination. These are the people telling us who needs to be in government, these are the people who think Har Homa is in Sinai."

A last-minute bid to block Netanyahu's 'rescue me' campaign

The Central Elections Committee has issued an injunction against live broadcasting a statement by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu later this evening.
Netanyahu's office announced the prime minister intends to make a statement at 5:45 P.M. The Zionist Union and Yesh Atid parties petitioned the committee against the broadcast. According to the committee's head, Justice Salim Joubran, the statement qualifies as election propaganda, and is therefore banned.

Polling stations opened at 7 a.m. on Tuesday as Israeli citizens headed for the ballots to vote for Israel’s 20th Knesset, bringing a heated campaign season to a close. Polls from the end of last week left options open for a tight race. TV exit polls were published at 10 p.m., as polling stations closed, after which official results began to roll in. The official final results won’t be publicized until Thursday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Likud, vying for the role for his fourth time (third consecutively), made a last-ditch attempt over the past days to win back voters mainly from the right-wing bloc, vowing Monday night to block a Palestinian state should he remain in office.

Unlike years past, analysts said the race between Likud and Zionist Union, the two leading factions, was too close to call with confidence; the real drama may come in the next few days, as smaller parties make recommendations for prime minister, swaying each side’s ability to form a coalition. Among the possible kingmakers are the upstart Kulanu party, the Arab Joint List, which brought together the main Arab parties for the first time, and the ultra-Orthodox Shas party.

Kuna kingmaker mmoja kama atakubali kujoin either part, hiyo party itaunda serikali.
tayari rais wa israel ametoa wito iundwe serikali ya mseto.

Exit Poll: a poll of people leaving a polling place asking how they voted-NOT RESULTS-Don't get fooled like US-08

Israel President Reuven Rivlin has said he will work for a national unity government, the Haaretz newspaper reports. It quotes Mr Rivlin as saying that "only a unity government can prevent the rapid disintegration of Israel's democracy and new elections in near future".

Talking about Proportion Representation (PR)! Vyama kama utitiri. Unstable coalition government is underway.

ILI kuunda serikali inatakia viti 61.

Netanyau ana viti 28(likud).

I cannot tell you how disappointing this is. My entire Facebook feed is full of people in utter despair.
I was so optimistic, and now I'm crushed. I feel like this country has no future. We've doomed ourselves to four more years of getting fucked by a man who couldn't care less about the people he's supposed to care for. There will be no improvement with the Palestinians. Society is getting dumber and more racist. I won't be able to buy an apartment or secure a future for my family, if I'll ever have one.
I want out of here.

As an Israeli currently in graduate school in Canada, I really don't wanna go back now lol. This is fucking stupid. Housing prices have skyrocketed under this joker and all of the poor people vote for him in DROVES? How do they function in real life with this sort of stupidity?

Under this idiot, our society is increasingly becoming rightist, racist, ultraorthodox (check out the reproduction rates of the Haredim and how much welfare they suck up without contributing anything to society), isolated internationally (Bibi pissed off our most important ally just a week or so ago), and the Palestinian issue is never going to be solved with this clown (he said he'd never accept a Palestinian state yesterday).

I really hope I can get a green card or something because https://jamii.app/JFUserGuide this shit I'm done
