    It is good that they had the sense to use the existing standard, so that If a user wants to upgrade only the drive and not buy an entire new laptop just to enjoy the space, the user should be able to do just that.

    This is something worth considering.But everytime the hardware guys make one step these damn software developers gubble up all the space with the next gen apps, be it vista or voice recognition and stuff like that.It is pretty much a cat and mouse game.
