Meanwhile, President Kikwete left the country on Monday evening for Perth, Australia where he will attend the Commonwealth Summit, scheduled for Friday through Sunday.
A State House statement said the president would attend an economic forum ahead of the summit, before joining other heads of state in a special meeting with businessmen. President Kikwete returns home on Tuesday, next week.
In another development, President Kikwete received letters of credentials from the Sudanese and Japanese ambassadors, Mr Yassir Mohamed Ali and Masaki Okada respectively...Daily news..
