    Poor economies.
    A lot of diseases,
    Mortality rate very high,
    Civil wars here and there,
    Poor leadership,
    etc.

    Why?
What should be done to remedy the situation?

Because people lack depth, detail oriented approaches and preciseness, like how your question was asked.

Swali lako lilivyoulizwa kivivu linaonyesha wazi tatizo letu ni nini. Watu wavivu, waoga, hawako makini etc etc.

Tuachane na theories za kwenye vitabi ninahakika we can move.

What is "poor economies"?

What is "a lot of diseases"?

Mortality rate very high compared to who?

Civil war "here and there" what do you mean by "here and there"?

How can you demonstrate that africa has poor leadership?

The point is not that I disagree with your assertion, rather you do not put even anecdotal references to support your premises, this points to intellectual lazyness, which is my answer to your question.

The answer to your question lies in your question. If you will look carefully at how your question is framed you will get the answer right there.

    A lot is involved. Kuanzia hali ya hewa . . . . . . . . mpaka akili.

A lot of diseases: Look at the climate of Africa first. The hot, humid climate in much of Africa encourages the spread of insects that destroy livestock and cause various diseases in people.

Africa's climate has made agricultural improvement difficult. In areas with limited and unreliable rainfall, farmers may be uncertain of what crops to plant.

Remember almost all the rest of Africa has one or two seasons of heavy rainfall separated by dry periods. Sasa wananchi wa Africa wanakuwa domant mentally because of having one season mwaka mzima.
