Talk about jumping on the band wagon based on hearsay. With pump prices between TSh 1350 and TSh 1600 there or there abouts, owning any machine that uses petrochemicals is expensive.

For what its worth, i had the pleasure of selling a similar Honda a few months back na to show it around I was left in a week long possession of the vehicle by the owner. It was a smooth ride, it handled exceptionally well and on tarmac and a slow wing, it drove like a sedan. The 1997 CR-V manual that came with the car indicated a highway consumption rate of about 11.8L/100km and a slightly worse fuel use for in town driving, but for an 11 year old plus motor, I worked out the consumption to be at around 12.5L/100km at 80-100 km/h.

It was also the roomiest mini SUV made before 2004 that I have seen in a long while, the wheel base certainly looked longer than that of its Rav4 and Suzuki rivals.

The only downsides to the car was the power. It was severely underpowered, meaning that it took its time to reach desired speed. Another "potential" pitfall is the independent suspension at both the front and the rear. However, the vehicle appeared to be light enough to warrant such a "soft" axle and suspension setup.

Lastly, HONDA engines have in time proved to be extremely reliable so barring deliberate neglect I doubt kama litakulaza njiani.

    Wakuu nimewapata
Engine yake ni less 2000cc, you can compare with any car of the same capacity simple! "Patpending" ametoa data nzuri ya fuel consumption nakubaliana nae.
"Gudboy" Cheap things are expensive, mfano mzuri ni hizi simu za wachina, unanunua na unapewa betri mbili, they dont even last 4hr talking!
Mkubwa Gudboy, ushauri wa bure, always go for something you can afford, kama huwezi ni vizuri kunyamaza, Ila nashukuru kwa mchango wako!
