Have you locked your keys in the car? Does you car have remote keys?


This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone:

If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone.

Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

How does this work? How are signals being sent and then relayed to the locked car?

Sijawahi kufanya hii kitu ila swali langu ni kwamba hizo signals zinatumwaje kutoka kwenye remote keys kupitia hiyo cell phone hadi kufungua gari? au hii mechanism yote inawezeshwa na kitu gani? Naomba nifafanulie mazee.

kitia is right on cue,everyone beware,if you have one of those expensive cars,before you remotely open the car,watch out for a suspicious car parked behind your car,cause the moment you press the key,the waves are taped by a lap top like gadget by the person in the car parked behind.its now just a matter of time,the moment you leave your car the person drives the car away,funny though although some of these cars have trackers installed yet are never seen again

...it's funny but it works in some cars... nishawahi kufungua peugeot 306 kwa njia hii, tena sio mara moja wala mbili... nimerudia tena na tena na tena... inafungua!!!

But couldnt do it with Volkswagen Polo!!! sasa sijui magari ya Mjerumani (BMW, Volkswagen, Merc, na Audi) yana security features imara zaidi kuliko ya mfaransa au la...

Nadhani hata Toyota, au Nissan yatasumbua pia kufunguka kwa njia hiyo. Its all about radio waves zinazokuwa transmitted via mobile fone (ya mwenye Car-key remote device) kwenda kwenye mobile fone ya mtu aliye karibu na gari, hata kama huyo mwenye device akiwa China!

There is no such thing, the signal is encrypted and unique every time it is transmitted therefore the signal you capture will not work the next time.

Utafiti nilioufanya jana majibu yake haya hapa. Nimejaribu kutumia remote nikiwa katika chumba kilicho karibu na dirisha "remote key bila phone" ikafungua, nilipoenda sebureni chumba kimoja ndani; remote imeshindwa kufungua ndipo nikaacha simu juu ha hood nikaenda tumia simu nyingine ndani, LIKAUNLOCK "it works" then nikaenda chumba kingine mbali zaidi ndani ya closet nikajaribu ikafungua. Nilifurahi sana. Jioni nilipokuwa naelekea shule nikaacha Remote Key nyumbani by the way shule ipo kama 8 miles hivi, wamejaribu kunipigia simu mara kibao hakuna kilicho endelea. Conclusion
"It does't Work"!!!! this is only one sample on a huge population....Tafadhari wengine mliojaribu tupasheni, pls pay closer attantion to the distance btn u and u r vehicle. it should be over 300 Meters away.

This does not work kabisa.....nimejaribu leo nikiwa umbali kama 11kms kutoka home mpaka ofcn , then kampigia wife akachukua remote key ya spare na kubonyabonya several times karibu na simu yake na mi kule ofcn nikiwa karibu na gari.....hakuna kilicho tokea! So this does not work labda ukiwa close sana.....!

Mimi sio mtaalam wa maelectronics so watalaam fanyeni uchunguzi tena!
