Rejeeni thread #33 itaondoka bila shida. Bahati mbaya FastJet yuko marekani tungepata bonge ya coverage hapa Arusha.
 
Kuna mtu ananiambia toka Addis kwamba jamaa hawana test pilot wa kuruka hapo so i guess watatoka boeing.Lakini ukitoa mizigo , viti , na kuweka minimum fuel ya kufika KIA ??

Hakika hali ni tight. Ila tuombe tu Mungu wanyanyuke vizuri, na wenye imani zetu tunaamini hivyo.

Kuna waandishi wa BBC hapa na mitambo yao ya ajabuajabu, wakiwa wameitega ili kunasa hadi milimita ya kwanza ya muondoko, na wanasema kila kinachonaswa na wao kinaingia moja kwa moja pale London.

Eneo hili la kiwanja sasa hivi limekuwa na kituo maalum cha mabasi na teksi, bajaji, bodaboda na baiskeli kwaajili ya kufacilitate watazamaji wa sinema ya bure!

Kuna wachangamkiaji wa biashara wameweka kila aina za vinywaji na vitafunwa, na wanauza mpaka basi.

Kama ndege hii itafanikiwa kuondoka basi itakuwa ni kilio kwa wajasiriamali wengi!

Watanzania inaonesha ni jinsi gani vijana wengi wasivyo na kazi na wavivu..toka hii ajali itokee watu wanajaa pale hadi jana kukatokea jam! Kitu gani cha maana wanaangalia kwa sasa? Ni ndege...waarusha hawajawahi ona ndege?, kama ni ajari mbona zinatokea..what's so special there mpaka mnaacha kufanya kazi mnaenda kujazana pale kila siku..tufanye kazi zetu tuwaachie wahusika waendelee na kazi zao jamani

TUKIO LA NDEGE AINA YA BOEING 767-300 MALI YA ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES ILIYOTUA KWENYE UWANJA WA NDEGE WA ARUSHA BADALA YA UWANJA WA NDEGE WA KIMATAIFA KILIMANJARO (KIA) TAREHE 18/12/2013.

Jana majira ya 12;47 mchana , Ndege ya Shirika la Ndege la Ethiopia aina ya ya Boeing 767-300 yenye injini mbili na uwezo wa kubeba abiria 260 ilitua kwa dharura katika uwanja wa ndege wa Arusha badala ya Uwanja wa ndege wa Kimataifa wa Kilimanjaro- KIA ilipotarajiwa kutua

Ndege hiyo ilikua ikitokea ADDIS ABABA ETHIOPIA ikielekea Kilimanjaro na Mombasa, ilitegemea kutua Uwanja wa ndege wa kimataifa wa Kilimanjaro (KIA) saa 06:55 mchana katika safari yake ya kawaida ilikuwa na jumla ya watu 213 (Abiria, rubani na wahudumu wa ndege).

Mawasiliano ya kwanza ya ndege na uwanja wa Kimataifa wa Kilimanjaro yalikuwa saa 06:29 mchana ambapo rubani alisema ametoka Addis Ababa, Ethiopia kwenda Kilimanjaro akiruka futi 36,000 kutoka usawa wa bahari na alitegemea kutua KIA saa 06:50 mchana.

Muongoza ndege alimwelekeza rubani njia ya kufuata kuelekea KIA hadi atakapouona uwanja na kisha kutua barabara namba 27 (Runway 27). Rubani pia alipewa tahadhari kuwa kuna ndege ndogo imekwama mwanzoni mwa barabara 09 (Runway 09) kutokana na tatizo la kupata pancha na barabara iliyopo ni namba 27 yenye urefu wa mita 3,200 ambazo zinaweza kutumika.

Baada ya kupewa taarifa hiyo, rubani alijibu na kusema atamwita tena baada ya kuachiwa na Nairobi. Baada ya muda mfupi, rubani aliita tena KIA na kuripoti ameachiwa na Nairobi na anaomba kuendelea kuteremka. Muongoza ndege wa KIA alimruhusu kuendelea kushuka hadi hatimaye kufikia futi 7,000.

Baada ya muda rubani akaripoti kwamba amekiona kiwanja na anaomba aendelee kutua kwa macho (visual approach) barabara namba 27. Rubani aliruhusiwa kuendelea kutua kwa kuona, na aripoti akiwa upande wa kushoto wa barabara namba 27.

Baadae rubani aliita tena na kuripoti kwamba yuko upande wa kushoto wa barabara namba 27 na anaiona barabara ya ndege namba 27. Wakati wote alikua kwenye masafa ya KIA (120.1 MHz) na hali ya hewa kwa wakati wote ilikuwa ni nzuri. Baada ya hapo muongoza ndege wa KIA alimruhusu kutua barabara namba 27. Baada ya kutokumuona akitua muongoza ndege wa KIA alianza kuita ndege hiyo bila mafanikio. Wakati muongoza ndege wa KIA akiendelea kuita ndege hiyo, alipigiwa simu na muongoza ndege wa Arusha kumtaarifu kwamba anaiona ndege aina ya BOEING inatua barabara namba 27 Arusha.
Hakuna taarifa ya tahadhari iliyotolewa na marubani wa ndege hiyo ya Ethiopia ET 815, kabla ya kutoa uwanja wa Arusha. Aidha uwanja wa ndege wa KIA ulikuwa unaruhusu ndege hiyo kutua licha ya ndege ndogo ya abiria kukwama mwanzoni mwa bara bara ya 09(Runway 09). Kwa vile bado ilikuwa na bara bara yenye urefu wa mita 3200 ambazo zingeweza kutumika.

Mamlaka ya Usafiri wa Anga Tanzania inashirikiana na Kitengo cha Uchunguzi wa Ajali, Wizara ya Uchukuzi, kubaini chanzo cha tukio hilo. Tayari timu ya wataalamu iko eneo la tukio, hivyo taarifa zaidi zitatolewa uchunguzi utakapokamilika.

By Simon Hradecky, created Wednesday, Dec 18th 2013 20:27Z, last updated Thursday, Dec 19th 2013 09:32ZAn Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 767-300, registration ET-AQW performing flight ET-815 from Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) to Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) with 213 people on board, could not land in Kilimanjaro due to a disabled light aircraft on the runway and entered a holding for about 30 minutes. The crew subsequently declared emergency due to low fuel and began the approach to Kilimanjaro's runway 27 (length 3600 meters/11,800 feet) where the light aircraft was still on the runway near the threshold of runway 09/end of runway 27. The aircraft however touched down on Arusha's runway 27 (length 1620 meters/5300 feet) at 13:15L (10:15Z) and came to a full stop just prior to the runway end. Subsequently the crew turned the aircraft left for backtracking, the aircraft came to a stop with all gear on soft ground. No injuries occurred, the aircraft received no visible damage.

The airline confirmed the aircraft diverted because a Cessna was disabled on the runway of Kilimanjaro, however, did not explain why the aircraft diverted to Arusha (27nm from Kilimanjaro Airport) with too short a runway rather than diverting to Dar es Salaam (Tanzania, 240nm from Kilimanjaro), Mombasa (Kenya, 154nm from Kilimanjaro) or Nairobi (Kenya, 127nm from Kilimanjaro) featuring suitable runways.

An investigation has been opened into the occurrence.

Ground witnesses report, that the crew managed to bring the aircraft to a full stop just before the end of the runway, but then attempted to maneouver the aircraft to backtrack the runway which is when they went off paved surface.

A listener on frequency reported the aircraft was sent into a holding at Kilimanjaro NDB (KB, 293kHz) southwest of Kilimanjaro Airport and south of Arusha Airport. Arusha's runway was visible from the holding with the same orientation as Kilimanjaro's runway (09/27 at 3600 meters length). The crew thus obviously believing to land at Kilimanjaro Airport touched down at Arusha.

Another listener on frequency reported the next day that the crew was advised the Cessna would soon be removed from the runway convincing the crew to remain in the hold. The crew finally called in declaring emergency and reporting that they no longer had sufficient fuel to reach Nairobi, Dar es Salaam or Mombasa (editorial remark: with required minimum fuel reserve remaining intact). Following the emergency the aircraft was cleared to land on Kilimanjaro's shortened runway 27, the crew was told the Cessna was still on the runway near the threshold of runway 09, the Boeing 767 however did not show up at the airport.

Several passengers reported that after holding they were told they were now approaching Kilimanjaro airport, they would land to the west due to the Cessna still near the western end of the runway. The landing was rough as expected, only then it was discovered that they had landed at the wrong airport. After turning onto the grass they were stuck on the aircraft for about 3.5 hours until stairs arrived from Kilimanjaro Airport, in the meantime some emergency exits were opened to re-introduce some air circulation into the cabin and calm discontent amongst the passengers.

Arusha's airport said the aircraft landed in Arusha by mistake, they were not supposed to land at Arusha and did not communicate with Arusha tower. The aircraft came to a complete stand still just before the end of the runway but then went off the runway.

  • Baada ya ndege ndogo kuharibika mwishoni mwa Runway 09 Traffic Controllers wa KIA na Crew wa ET walifanya inavyotakiwa..yaani ku-hold Ethiopian at Kilimanjaro NDB 291 ambayo iko karibu na Arusha airport kuliko KIA.
  • Baada ya kuona mafuta yanapungua (siyo kwisha kabisa) Crew wa ET walifanya inavyotakiwa yaani ku-declare Emergency (hapa nafuta post yangu ya kuwalaumu hawa crew kwa negligency). Pia ATC wetu pale KIA walifanya inavyotakiwa kutoa kibali kwa ndege kutua runway 27 on visual approach kwani wasingeweza kumaliza mita 3200 na kuikaribia ndege iliyoharibika.. hakuna cha zaidi ambacho ATC KIA wangefanya..
  • Inaonekana kabisa Crew wa Ethiopian walijichanganya wenyewe kwani baada yak u-hold kwa muda at Kilimanjaro NDB 291 ambayo iko karibu na uwanja wa Arusha basi mawazo yao yakawa katika uwanja wa Arusha kwani walishauona wakati wako hold.
  • Mwisho sioni sehemu ya kulaumu ATC wetu pale KIA..ila kumwonea huruma yule babu mzee rubani wa Ethiopian kwa kuendeleza rekodi ya “pilot error” kutua viwanja tofauti bila kujua… Labda alitaka kuwahi “chakula ya waathirika” pale Rexona Bar Arusha!

Sidhani kama Boeing 767 ikiwa haina abiria, mafuta mengi na mizigo itashindwa kuondoka kwenye huu uwanja wa Arusha. Ikiwa full loaded inahitaji ruway ya 2.4km kutake off katika usawa wabahari kama Dar, kwa hiyo bila abiria, mafuta mengi na mizigo runway ya 1km inawezekana kabisa kwa Boeing 767 kuondoka, labda pilot awe kihiyo.
