Can't access jambotanzania's IRC???

Hi guys, has it ever got to you that you get connection refused when trying to access irc.jambotanzania.net? I'm kinda stuck outside by this error!!!!

* Connecting to irc.jambotanzania.net (6667)
-
* Unable to connect to server (Connection refused)
-
* Connect retry #1 irc.jambotanzania.net (6667)
-
* Unable to connect to server (Connection refused)
-
* Connect cancelled

and if i load with java applet i also get :-

Connecting...
Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection refused: connect


i could do more research on it and comeup with a solution but i have alot of work to do right now, so its not bad if i post it here and see if anyone ever faced the problem and if yes then how did you work it out?
