Job Responsibilities:
- Apply for port charges invoices, arrange payments, and manage customs clearance and cargo release.
- Apply for vehicle entry permits for port access.
- Supervise bulk vessel unloading at Tanga Port, record daily unloading quantities and progress, and promptly report and resolve any issues related to unloading and customs clearance.
- Coordinate with transport providers to arrange trucks for cargo movement.
- Collect delivery confirmation slips and invoices from transport providers.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customs clearance for bulk vessels at Tanga Port.
- Familiarity with clearance documents required by the Port Authority, Customs, Bureau of Standards, and other relevant authorities.
- Strong compliance awareness, excellent coordination and communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Must be flexible (reporting to the company is only required when a vessel is in port).
