organized individual to join our team as a Storeskeeper.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our store, overseeing inventory, and
maintaining accurate records of goods in and out.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain organized and efficient storage of goods within the company’s premises.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Issue goods as per requisitions and maintain proper documentation.
- Regularly update inventory records to reflect stock levels accurately.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical inventory with records.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate orders to replenish supplies as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries and returns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding store management and inventory control.
- Keep the store area clean, safe, and orderly at all times.
- Proven experience as a Storeskeeper or similar role, preferably in a transport or logistics company.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures.
- Familiarity with relevant software for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in supply chain management or logistics
will be a plus.
