PREQUALIFICATION NOTICE
FOR
SUPPLIERS AND SERVICES PROVIDERS OF GOODS AND SERVICES
IN 2014
1. Catholic Relief Services Tanzania Program intends to update its list of local suppliers, services providers and contractors for the supply of goods and provision of services for the year in 2014.
2. Catholic Relief Services [CRS] invites applications of interested, competent suppliers and services providers from Dar es Salaam, Mwanza and Arusha for the supply of goods and provision of services for the period mentioned starting from 1st May, 2014. Interested goods and services providers are encouraged to provide their businesss information including but not limited to their companys profile, eligibility to transact in Tanzania, active branches, prices lists, experiences in the similar field of services, availability of professional and skilled personnel and brochures indicating that they are willing and ready to provide below services to be best of their ability:

3. Applicants willing to participate in this process and are interested to be included in our list of potential suppliers/services providers may obtain further information from the department of Administrative and Procurement of CRS Office during official hours i.e. 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time [Monday to Friday].
4. Your application/proposal should be prepared in English language only.
5. Shortlisted suppliers and services providers in the respective categories of services mentioned above will be called to submit quotations as and when such services and needs arise. Purchase Orders [POs] and or Services Contracts [SCs] will then be issued for the services being provided with successful selected services provider(s).
6. The deadline for submission of the completed and sealed prequalification application has been set at 10:00 a.m. local time on 8th April 2014.
7. If you did not heard from us within 4 [four] weeks after the closing date, you can assume that your application/proposal has not been successful in this process.
8. Any proposal/application received after this date or sent to another address will not be considered in the selection process and will be rejected.
9. Please note that any and all costs for preparing the application/proposal and for negotiating a contract; including any related travel etc. will not be reimbursable nor can it be included as a direct cost of the assignment.
10. Applications in plain sealed envelope clearly marked in the name and number of the relevant category of services should be addressed to and submitted to the tender box situated at the CRS Offices reception area in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza and Arusha.
