And? What difference does that make with what I said? Be ready for heart attack my friend as Kenya's failure to bag Uganda in her SGR has Uhuruto's tenderpreneurship to blame. As for now Museveni needs an assurance of an electrical SGR and he knows where he can get that, btn Uhuruto juakali deals or the two no nonsense Kagame n Magufuli!

Plse smell that bitter coffee my friend, chinese financing institutions came and met both Kenya and Uganda and went back to China and no word has been given as whetehr funds will be issued for Kisumu-malaba section. Meanwhile Kagame seeing the drama, made a decision to jump the boat and join the central corridor where magufuli has given an assurance of financing Dar to Isaka from own funds!

On that circumstances u don't need rocket science to know what did Kagame tell his brother Museveni as far as SGR is concerned. BTW u used to be a very good analyst in here on issues, what happened did nationalism got into u?

A bilateral meeting btwn Kagame and M7 where SGR was discussed. You realy want us to believe they sat down to discuss Kenyan SGR? They could as well have sat down and discussed the latest nigerian movies.

I didn't say Tanzania SGR but pretty sure the prospects of the two Tanzania's electrical SGR and Kenya's diesel SGR was discussed n central corridor has an upperhand for now! Look at what's trending...

Rwanda and Tanzania opt for electric locomotives on SGR line

Rwanda and Tanzania have agreed to drop the proposed use of diesel engines in favour of electric locomotives for the Isaka-Kigali standard gauge railway (SGR) line.

According to Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye, Rwanda’s transport minister, the decision to switch from diesel to electric was motivated by the need to reduce travel times for both cargo and passenger traffic, as well as to address environmental concerns.

Speaking at a meeting with his Tanzanian counterpart Makame Mbarawa, Uwihanganye directed the Rwanda Transport Development Agency (RTDA) and Joint Technical Monitoring Committee (JTMC) to produce an updated feasibility study for the project.

The suggested change in plan is expected to make the proposed trains faster which will give the countries and the Central Corridor a competitive edge over the Northern Corridor that runs through Kenya.

The two governments are expected to tender the project in the next three months with the ground breaking of the railway set for October 2018.
