FOX News is parting ways with Sarah Palin, depriving the 2008 Republican VP candidate of a prominent punditry perch. After a three-year run as a paid contributor to the nation's highest-rated cable news channel, Palin and FOX have cut ties, scoops Real Clear Politics's Scott Conroy.

After resigning as Alaska governor in 2009, Palin became one of FOX News' marquee on-air assets, appearing frequently across its programming and often generating headlines for her memorable and characteristically provocative commentary.

In a 2011 interview with the Associated Press, FOX chief Roger Ailes was blunt about why she was on-air. "I hired Sarah Palin because she was hot and got ratings."

But that appeared to change in recent months. In a Facebook post during the Republican convention last August, Palin lamented that the news channel had "cancelled all my scheduled interviews tonight."

NEW YORK (AP) - Sarah Palin is out as a Fox News Channel contributor.

The network said Friday that it is parting ways with the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate and former Alaska governor.

Bill Shine, executive vice president at Fox News, said the network has enjoyed its association with Palin and wishes her the best.

The report says that she did not renew her contract with Fox News and not what you are claiming here. Try to do a little homework before you post. Your posts shows and/or reflect your intellect.

Do you remember the 1 Million protest... do you remember you said God told you guys that Mitt will be a president, be careful when you post.
 
Only 8 million attended inauguration and yes they were a lot of protesters the liberal media did not show msnbc .i saw it in fox news and BET cause they claimed racism It's true Anderson cooper is leaving end of February and Sarah palin is joining CNN .wewe ndio fanya home work .liberal media is about to be only msnbc .yes I'm a republican and I hate Sarah plain but she is joining CNN .liberals all you want is we have to praise and love Obama .Obama can't govern and he is worse than bush that is not me it's ( gall up and other polls ) .

That's one thing I love about my America...we know how to build people up; send them up to the stratosphere and when it's time to fall, we not only remove the safety net, we also line the ground with broken bottles to make the fall more dramatic. I know it seems like it will never end, but it eventually does. Case in point, anyone still talking about Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, the Jersey Shore kids, Ashley Simpson, all those "talented" boy bands, Ricky Martin, Jon & Kate Gosselin, Octomom...etc. Palin has had her 15 minutes and after a while even the vapidness isn't funny anymore. Hang in there my people, one day, one fine day, we shall be asking "whatever happened to the Kardashians?"
