FIFA considering new handball rule

FIFA will look at changing soccer's rules after a goal-line handball by Uruguay striker Luis Suarez denied Ghana a place in the World Cup semifinals.

FIFA president Sepp Blatter says changes can be considered at an October meeting of its rules-making panel, which will also reopen the debate on using technology to decide if a ball has crossed the goal-line. That discussion was expected this month.

Blatter dismissed creating a rule to award "penalty goals" when handballs clearly prevented a score.
But he said the rules panel could "take on such situations" witnessed at the World Cup, such as when Suarez swatted away a certain Ghana goal. Ghana missed the ensuing penalty and Uruguay won their quarter-final in a shootout.

Rules zitabadilika kila kukicha. Ukiangalia kila kona frauds, corruptions, cheating etc. zinatumia technique kali zaidi. Adhabu kali zinatakiwa kutolewa kama ikigundulike ilikuwa deliberate intention. Mtu anadaka mpira unaokwenda wavuni makusudi hilo ni goli, kadi nyekundu na afungiwe maana hayuko kimichezo huyo. Suala la uamuzi wa refa kuwa wa mwisho pia linahitajika kuangaliwa upya. Goal line technology pia ni muhimu kwa ulimwengu wa sasa.

Football, as it is currently, is a game with stupid rules and stupid leaders at the very top. The rules tell us that it is only a goalkeaper who is allowed to prevent a goal using his/her hands. But we have this stupid player, who is not a goal keeper, overtly and deliberately using his hands to stop a clear goal and these stupid football leaders tell us that it was not a goal. This is simply fraudulent.

These FIFA morons could borrow a leaf from basketball game. In basketball if a player illegally prevents a clear goal from the basket mouth the goal is counted, the player penalised, and a penalty given. The only way we can discourage players like SUAREZ from cheating is to make the offence very costly to their team.

Another interesting thing about these FIFA morons is that they refuse to allow goal line technology and replays when a goal is erroneously disallowed despite the fact that their stupid referrees keep on disallowing clear goals. FIFA claims that the referees' decisions are final and there is no need for a replay. But when a player commits a fouls leading to injury of another player they hastily refer to the replay to pass a judgment.

It high time they got rid of these stupid old men from FIFA to give way for modernization of the football game.
