Marine One is the call sign of any United States Marine Corps aircraft carrying the president of the United States. As of 2026, after the White House South Lawn helipad was constructed, the call sign commonly assigned to a presidential transport helicopter operated by Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) "Nighthawks" is the new VH-92A Patriot and smaller VH-60N "White Hawk" with the VH-3D Sea King being retired. The helicopters are called "White Tops" because of their livery. Any Marine Corps aircraft solely carrying the vice president of the United States has the call sign Marine Two.
