One of the most common features of JKs tenure as TZ president is nepotism practice when it comes to picking public service leaders
.We have seen JK practicing nepotism in almost all high public service posts
.these include..Corporate board chairmen/members
permanent secretaries
.ministers
..special seat MPs
..RCs
.DCs
..etc etc etc
.the list goes on
..
If you carefully look into these groups of people/leaders it is rare that you will miss JKs close allies/associates/friends etc etc among them ..and this has been a very common feature to many Tanzanians now .
The most painful outcome of nepotism practice to TZ has been CORRUPTION of the highest order ..involving leaders picked by JK through nepotism ..We have seen JKs government failing to punish corrupt leaders simply because most of them have protection or close ties with ikulu we see corrupt leaders (former and current) enjoying freedom .we see corrupt ministers/their ministries being implicated by CAG reports but ignoring resignation all because they know that they have higher protection .we see massive corruption involving our local governments but people are not taken to task .all because some of them (if not most)have higher protection .because nepotism in TZ has become so systemic t hat its almost impossible to deal with it Now once again .. we are about to see new cabinet ministers ..all being picked by JK. ..will they also come from nepotism?????....as we always use to see???Lets wait and see .
