RECORDS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT I – 1 POST


Qualifications and experience
Possession of Certificate in Records Management from a recognized institution with three (3) years working experience.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Registration of incoming/outgoing mail
  • Filing documents
  • Maintaining records of file movements
  • Assist in classification of records and boxing
  • Advise on proper use and storage of records
  • Ensure confidentiality, security and safety of records
  • Ensure cleanliness and quality of records
  • Assist stakeholders in all records matters
  • Maintain records and files in the registry
  • Keep files in cabinets and shelves
  • Address outgoing mail
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Administrative Section


RECORDS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT II – 2 POSTS


Qualifications and experience

LIBRARIAN II – 1 POST


Qualifications and experience


  • Holders of University Degree/Advanced Diploma in Librarianship or its equivalent from recognized institutions.
  • Two (2) years work experience.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Assists in cataloguing and classification of documents
  • Offers assistance to readers on documents selections
  • Maintains public and staff catalogue
  • Processes added copies and continuations
  • Ensures proper shelves of books and periodicals
  • Copies catalogue with cataloguing in publication (CIP) data
  • Handles inter-library loans, gifts and exchanges
  • Administer library records
  • Any other related duties as may be assigned by the Head of Section



REMUNERATION

All above posts carry attractive remuneration packages and fringe benefits in accordance with the qualifications and experience stated in the specific post.
