    Sumu hurundikana mwilini tunapokuwa hatuna maji ya kutosha mwilini. Kitoto kichanga kilichozaliwa leo, asilimia 80 ya mwili wake ni maji. Kiwango cha maji kwenye tishu hupungua kadri mwili unavyoongezeka hadi kufikia asilimia 60 kwa mtu mzima.

    Kwa mujibu wa tafiti mbalimbali, binadamu aneweza kuishi hadi siku 81 bila kula, lakini hufa anapokosa maji kwa muda wa siku 5 tu! Mtu anapopoteza asilimia 5 ya maji mwilini, hubadilika na hueza kuanza kuweweseka, misuli kushikana na kukosa mwelekeo na akipoteza maji kwa asilimia hadi 15 maisha yake huwa hatarini na kupoteza maji kwa aziaid ya silimi 15 mtu hufa.
    SABABU 9 KWA NINI UNYWE MAJI
    Kupunguza uzito: Kunywa maji mengi kunasaidia kupunguza uzito, kwani maji hayana mafuta, kalori wala sukari.

    Afya ya moyo:

    Unywaji wa maji mengi kunaweza kupunguza hatari ya kupatwa na ugonjwa wa moyo. Utafiti wa miaka sita uliofanywa Marekani umeonesha kuwa watu wanaokunywa glasi za maji zisizopungua 8 au lita 2 kwa siku, hujiepusha na uwezekano wa kupatwa na ugonjwa wa moyo kwa asilimia 41 zaidi ya wale wanaokunywa glasi 2 au chini ya hapo.

    Nishati ya mwili:

    Mwili unapopungikiwa maji, hukufanya ujisikie mchovu, hivyo kwa kunywa maji ya kutosha daima utakuwa mwenye nguvu. Pendelea kunywa maji badala ya vinywaji baridi kama soda, juisi au bia.

    Tiba ya kichwa:

    Dalili ya mtu kupungukiwa maji mwilini ni pamoja na kuumwa kichwa. Kunywa maji ya kutosha na hutasumbuliwa sana na kuumwa kichwa mara kwa mara.

    Ngozi nyororo:

    Unywaji maji ya kutosha kila siku unaweza safisha ngozi yako na kuifanya ionekane nyororo.

    Matatizo ya choo:

    Maji ni dawa ya kutibu ukosefu wa choo, kunywa maji ya kutosha kila siku na utajiepusha na tatizo la ukosefu wa choo mara kwa mara.

    Usafishaji wa mwili:

    Maji husaidia kuondoa sumu mwilini kwa kutoa uchafu wote kwa njia ya mkojo na haja kubwa.

    Saratarani:

    Utajiepusha na saratani ya tumbo kwa kunywa maji, kwani maji husaidia suala la usagaji wa chakula tumboni na hivyo wakati wote tumbo lako litakuwa safi. Utajiondoa katika hatari ya kupata saratani ya tumbo kwa asilimia 45 na asilimia 50 kwa saratani ya kibofu cha mkojo.

    Mazoezi:

    Mwili unapokuwa na maji ya kutosha, yatakufanya uwe na nguvu ya kufanya mazoezi yako ya kutosha, hivyo kupata faida ya mazoezi ipasavyo.

    Thanks for the desa. Lakini ni dawa au kinga? I think dawa ni dawa na maji ni maji. Vyote vina kazi tofauti.

    Bht jitahidi hata mimi kwangu ilikua ni mtihani,na nilikua nasumbuliwa sana na kichwa tangu nilipojizatiti kunywa maji kuumwa kichwa kumepungua labda kiume tu kwa sababu ya uchovu,na pia tangu nianze kunywa maji najihisi niko fit sana hakuna uchovu wala nini,anza taratibu baadae utazoea.

    mimi nakunywa maji sana kiasi kwamba joto kidogo likitokea na sweti sana kuliko wengine , maana unakuta kuna watu wengine hata litokee joto kubwa kiasi gani mwili unakuwa mkavu hata dalili ya jasho hakuna hapo ndipo ninaposhangaa.

    Ni kweli usemayo,unajua vitu vingine tunaapaswa tu kushauriana sisi wenyewe na tusiwe tunasubiri ushauri toka ka daktari.Ukiona mtu wa hivyo jaribu kumshauri azingatie kunywa maji.

    Mkombozi tunashukuru kwa maelezo yako mazuri. Bado binafsi nahitaji ufafanuzi zaidi kuhusu unywaji wa maji, hebu nieleweshe, je ni maji ya baridi (kiasi gani cha baridi, sana au kiasi?), maji ya moto (moto kama chai, uvuguvugu au ya kawaida tu?). Pia nimewahi kusikia ni vema kunywa maji ya uvuguvugu mapema asubuhi (at least saa 11:30 alfajiri) kabla ya kula/kunywa chochote! Hii wengine wanaiita water therapy! Bibnafsi najitahidi sana kunywa maji ya uvuguvugu glasi moja (250ml.) kila siku asubuhi, nimeambiwa inasaidia kupunguza tumbo (a.k.a kitambi)!!!
    Wataalamu wengine mnasemaje?

    Lakuongezea pia, ni vizuri maji ya kunywa yasiwe ya baridi sana. Maji yakiwa ya kawaida tu "kwenye room temperature" yatamfanya mnywaji apende kuendelea kuyanywa zaidi kuliko yale ya baridi sana yanayotumika kukata kiu. Ni muhimu pia maji yanywewe kabla ya kula au saa moja baada ya kula.

    ahahahaha...hapa mmekuja anga zangu..yani nakunywa mimaji mpaka watu wananiogopa...si nimeamua kusitisha kwa muda uhusiano wangu na hawa wahindi wa sbl..sasa nikaamia kwa mzee mengi na kitu ya kilimanjaro kubwa...kwa kiwango cha chini..everyday ni maji 1.5ltrs chupa 4...kiasi ya lita 6 kila siku inayogonga kwa mungu...siku naamua kukaa na wananchi baa...ni mwendo wa kila raundi na mie yangu ya maji..mpaka kieleweke...ishu inakuja kuwa sijisikii hamu ya kullaaaa..yani mie nagusa menu kidogo tu nimeshiba...nadhani inabidi kuanza kuvuna pia faida za mazoezi ya viungo

    Mkuu kila kitu kina ukomo wake. Kunywa maji mengi kupita kiasi pia siyo nzuri,niliwahi kusoma thread ya member mmoja humu JF (somebody Fadhili kama sikukosea),hapa hapa JF doctor kuwa kiasi cha maji unachokunywa kwa siku kina uhusiano na uzito wako ( unfortunately sikumbuki ile formula) ila kinatakiwa kisizidi 3litres/day na/au 1 litre at a time kinyume na hapo utakuwa unasababisha kutoka kwa minerals mwilini wakati utakpolazimika kukojoa too often.Jaribu kutafuta ile thread ina elimu nzuri sana kuhusu matumizi ya maji.
