Job Title: Branch Manager (3 Posts)

Requirements:

  • University Degree or equivalent in a Business Related field
  • Professional qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in banking operations with at least 3 years at branch management level
  • Excellent knowledge of local banking business environment
  • Good knowledge of modern management techniques, organization and leadership skills.
  • Computer literate
Job Description:

  • Effectively manage and direct all branch business with the objective of achieving annual targets.
  • Responsible for the overall profitability of the branch
  • Maintain highest standard of quality customer care.
  • Ensure minimization of risks in the branch and that systems are in place to eliminate risks across all areas of the branch operations.
  • Ensure the branch implements and monitors compliance regarding money laundering prevention within procedures and controls that aligns with the bank's policy and BOT regulation.
  • Create ownership to agreed strategies and business goals, mobilize and motivate staff to achieve these common goals.
  • Promote harmonious working relationship between staff at all levels in the branch.
  • Participate in introducing new products & services and pricing appropriately based on market trends.

  • Effectively manage the supervision, monitoring and organization of the branch to ensure a smooth workflow is achieved.
  • Responsible for the overall operations of the branch
  • Ensure high level of routine standards is maintained and satisfactory rating is achieved during audits.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.
  • Ensure snap checks are in place as per the policy
  • Ensure reconciliation of office accounts are timely done.
  • Maintain high level of staff discipline in the branch
