Haha, hivi Kenya wana mgao wa umeme??
Hivi kenya asilimia ngapi are educated???

Jiulize maswali kama hayo. Then jilinganishe na kilimo kwanza chako.

Shame on you. Haha..

its imperative to note Kenya has never and will never use E.Africa as its standard index unit. However on matters of geopolitics and well being of the region, we share a point of convergence under IGAD peace, security and stability arrangement for the region. Kenya aint there but it has literaly flexed its muscles to show its a power to recon with economically and militarily. Might be baby steps but they are a right step to the right direction to form a diverse economy that is non mineral based; The expected home of Africas great minds, intellectuals and IT developers under the soon to be commisioned outsourcing hub Konza city. Some aspects of this greater society have already taken shape esp on initial infrastructures so its only but fair to understand Kenyans arent boasting but its a national pride any Kenyan would love to be associated with. Its true Kenyans are dreamers but they do so in the 'Kenyan Dream'.

Umesema vizuri, with less arrogance!

Nairoberry you are forgetting the largest wind farm to be constructed kule Lake Turkana. 360 wind turbines equal to 300MW at a $870 price tag will obviously off set the current deficit by 2013.

Pamoja kwamba Kenya hawawezi fananishwa na nchi zenye uchumi mkubwa, itoshe kusema they on the right lane and its happening just in ten years za Kibaki.

Kenya is expanding plans to become one of the world's top geothermal power producers with the start of explorations at a site called Menengai. The government is also aiming to make geothermal Kenya's main power source.

Kenya is already Africa's largest producer of geothermal power. It was the first country on the continent to drill for geothermal energy.

Last year, the International Geothermal Association ranked Kenya as the world's 10th largest producer of geothermal power, calling the country's potential "massive." But that was before the first well opened at Menengai earlier this year.

Experts estimate that the site alone contains some 1,600 megawatts, or about 300 megawatts more than Kenya's entire energy use.

Mkuu wangu umesema kweli nchi yetu haina viongozi wenye vision kama Mwl Nyerere.Ukitaka kujua Tanzania inelekea wapi sikiliza viongozi wetu wanchosema kwenye kampeni Arumeru Mashariki.

I have witnessed many mindsets that need grinding up to the soil. Basically, the only thing that is inevitable in life is change. So, when generations come and go without any improvements, it begs for restructuring of politics and policies. There is no need for my grandchild to speak the same thing I spoke a century ago. And also the unflappable patriotism exhibited by guys like kakalende here is dependent on the social standing of those who are anti-change.

Askari Kanzu..sometimes i read your posts and wonder if you really re-read them before you post them! why do you have such hatred for Kenya?..when we post anything positive about Kenya you come out with bitter comments that leaves one flabbergasted! .When we post the steps Kenya is taking in achieving its vision 2030..its not arrogance or propaganda..this are facts that can be verified..and it is intended to show what other countries can achieve if they embrace politics of development..yes Kenyans have been fighting every election year and for your information the underlying causes of all this killings have already been addressed in the new Constitution, the experience we had in 2007/8 as country left many to re evaluate their values and principles ....we learn t a very big lesson...
Even if we have been fighting every election year,is it something that you should celebrate!?..learn to wish your neighbors good and good will come to you. This is just a challenge to Tanzania and other neighboring countries..if Kenya can achieve all this in 4yrs(just after a war that nearly brought the country to its knees economically)..what can a country like Tanzania achieve with all its resources and peace that you have enjoyed for all this years!!?
We are here to learn from each other and i am not ashamed to point out that i wish Kenyans were cohesive as Tanzanians..we are learning from you on how Mwalimu Nyerere(RIP) managed to build a country where citizens put their country first before their tribes!..but you can not eat peace!! you need to develop! that's why Kenya is showing the way development wise..and you must become humble students and learn how to develop a country.
With your attitude i now know why Tanzania never develops and why the hope of doing so is dim...how do you teach young Tanzanians..do you really think of their future!? what country are you leaving for them!?.do you want them to grow to be like you or better than you!?....
Life is what we make it..and Kenyans have chosen to make theirs great!!..Tanzanians can still do the same..its never too late to make the right decision...but its too late for Tanzania to think that it will ever catch Kenya development wise..we are operating on a different wave length.....a fact you find it hard to admit that's why it hurts you so much..we may be Nyang'aus..but don't you think its so shameful and humiliating for a Nyanga'u to be smarter than you!?
Kenya is going to have a very peaceful election come next year march!!......you can take this to the bank!

Kakalende..you need serious prayers or you should make a point of visiting a psychiatric hospital for check up..if not..take up a book and read because you have drowned in the deepest sea of ignorance!!..those walalahoi of mathare or kibera will one day use those trains because its coz of them that those trains and flyovers are build..when one is born in those circumstances does not mean he/she must choose to remain that way..he or she has a responsibility to make a difference.....A mlalahoi in kenya is better placed to achieve a lot in life than any average Tanzanian..because they have the drive and are better educated to achieve great things in life ..many have made it from kibera and are living meaningful lives.
For your info this forum has an international section..so all are welcome to share their views..by the way if we can adhere by the motto of this forum "home of great thinkers"..people like you should never have any place here because i don't think you qualify to be a "great thinker"
