......"I have no personal grudge against President Kikwete…people should understand that he is the lawful President of our country," Mr Mbowe told The Citizen by telephone.........
"We are categorical that Mr Kikwete is Tanzania's lawful President…it is the legitimacy of the mandate that we have problems with…if Mr Kikwete was not the lawful President of this country, we would have demanded that he resign," he said.........
"We all know that the Judiciary is an important link between us and the government…they invited us to the ceremony, and I had no reason to refuse to attend," he said..........
"Politics is not about enmity…what we did during the President's speech in Parliament was meant to highlight our concerns and get our message across, and we have succeeded in that," Mr Mbowe said......
"I doubt whether President Kikwete would have taken steps towards a new constitution were it not for our insistence because the matter is not in CCM's manifesto....
For his part, Dr Slaa said Chadema had no problem with the Judiciary, adding that what they were questioning was Mr Kikwete's legitimacy as the President. "We have not changed our position," he said........

MY TAKE: I think Mr Mbowe is right, and one can fight an enemy better if he gets close to him.
