    Naombeni msaada wandugu,taratibu za likizo ya uzazi kwa mwanamke (maternity leave) zikoje kama amejifungua ndani ya miezi kama 4 tangu alipoajiriwa serikalini?

    Kuna taarifa isiyo rasmi niliyopokea kuwa kama hujathibitishwa kazini (confirmed) basi huwezi kupewa hiyo likizo.
    Kwa hali kama hii unafanyaje?

    Kwa kawaida ni baada ya miaka miwili tangu uajiriwe ndo unatakiwa uombe likizo ya maternity kwani ndo unakuwa confirmed.
    Lakini kutokana na sababu mbalimbali hata kabla ya kipindi hicho unapewa maternity leave, unajua tena ubinadamu.

    Labda mwajiri wako awe na kichwa ngumu ndo ataleta mapozi. But at the end of the day utapewa likizo,vinginevyo TAMWA hawatamwacha.

    Ni kweli unatakiwa upate maternity leave baada ya miaka miwili tangu uanze kazi, na ni siku 84, pia unatakiwa kuondoka kazini masaa 3 kabla ya muda wa kutoka kazini ili ukanyonyeshe. Soma sheria ya utumishi wa uma ya 2002

    Katika hali kama hiyo kinachofanyika ni kusitisha probation yako, unaenda likizo then ukirudi unakuja kuendelea na probation, then by the time umekuwa confirmed na kuwa entitled kupata likizo watakukata siku zao! Ni suala la ubinadamu zaidi maana hebu jiulize mtu asipopewa itakuaje?

    Na kwanini waajiri wajawazito hii kitu doesn`t apply in TZ labda kwa wenzetu.

    Ndio maana hii nchi umaskini hautakaa uishe, badala ya kuchapa kazi kwanza mnapeana mimba. mwe!

    Mama anaweza kupata likizo ya uzazi(maternity leave) endapo akiwa ametimiza si chini ya miezi sita akiwa kazini, na likizo yenyewe ni siku 84 akijifungua mtoto mmoja na siku 100 akijifungua mapacha. Kwakuwa kuwa mjamzito si dhambi na wala si utovu wa nidhamu kazini, mwanamke akijifungua chini ya miezi sita tangu aanze kazi, mwajiri atazingatia zaidi ubinadamu na si kosa kumruhusu kwenda likizo ili mradi mzunguko wa likizo uzingatiwe ambao ni kila baada ya miaka 3, ndo anaruhusiwa kuwa mjamzito tena. Ila kwakweli kama we ni mwajiriwa unashauriwa uwe makini kuenenda ktk misingi ya sheria. Soma Sheria ya Ajira na Mahusiano Kazini Na 6 ya 2004kifungu cha 33

    Suala hapa sio kuwepo kwa likizo hasa kwa sababu sheria inamzuia mwajiriwa kufanya kazi ndani ya kipindi cha wiki sita tangu kujifungua isipokuwa kwa ruhusa ya daktari (sama section 33(3) ya Sheria ya Ajira). Issue kubwa ni je hiyo likizo ni ya malipo ama la?
