A columnist in the current issue of the East African newspaper has written that Kikwete should not be worried about being toppled by any mass movement in Tanzania because such movement is non existent!! To qualify to go to meet Mr. Ocampo at the Hague a leader does not necessarily have to kill MASSES of people a' la Gaddafi; any killing of innocent civilians as happened in Arusha recently qualifies the person who ordered the killing to appear before the ICC. Kikwete by giving orders to his police chiefs to kill innocent demonstrators committed a grievous crime; and if we go by the recent pronouncements by his henchmen, there is every indication that his men will in the near future start shooting innocent civilians hence qualifying him as an Ocampo candidate. So If he is not careful very soon he will join the likes of Gaddafi and Uhuru Kenyatta.

If he is not aware of his potential fate then there must be something terribly wrong with the anatomy above his neck!!
