Prime Minister David Cameron has met Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga this morning, his first meeting with an African leader since taking office. During the meeting the PM reassured Prime Minister Odinga of his support for “vigorous political and economic reform” in Kenya.
    A Downing Street Spokesperson said:
“The Prime Minister reassured him of his commitment to the UK’s strong partnership with Kenya, and his support for vigorous political and economic reform. They discussed the importance of the France/Africa Summit next week.
The Prime Minister welcomed Kenya’s cooperation in confronting the threat of piracy off the coast of Somalia. He underlined his personal commitment, and that of his government, to the 0.7% GDP development target.

hahaha wishful thinking. Kikwete and Raila were INVITED and did NOT INVITE themselves to meet these leaders OBAMA and CAMERON.
It's all about politics and strategy...The coalition in Kenya, PEV and OCAMPO's campaing to send the perpetrators to the HAGUE and the Katiba mpya...those are the reasons for the invitation to No. 10 Downing street.

Learn to see beyond the obvious.

Hivi sisi waafrica tutapata akili lini, na lini tutajifunza kusema no master. Majuzi nimeona documentary moja huko Kenya mzungu kachukua ardhi in an area that's supposed to be one of those best areas for farming in the world near the equatorial line or somen like that. Halafu huyo repoter anaelezea farmine iliyotokea kenya recently anauliza kwanini wakenya wasipande chakula ktk hiyo area badala ya kumuachia mzungu apande 'maua rose'.

Yaani watu wanakufa njaa wakati kuna ardhi ambayo imepandwa maua hii akili gani jamani. Kibaya zaidi au kilicho niuzi zaidi yule repoter ku-justify at the end kwamba eti kuna economic benefit jamaa anaajiri 5,000 local people on that farm thats how huge it was. Wakati on the other side of the country people are starving, yaani nilimzabua bao kenywe TV.

Obviously he would not call an african leader out of respect but to protect their interest na Kenya, Zimbabwe and South Africa is where the interest lies because england agricultural land is located there wakati yao wanasema ya kufugia n'gombe na for their recreation.

Hizi ndio sababu wao wenzetu wanaendelea kuagiza for cheap hili waweze kulipa watu mishahara mizuri, sisi tunaletewa finished products at expensive prices only government thieves can enjoy them and we dare congratulate our leaders for being guest at these bigots (including pathetic Obama) houses.

We need to wake up honestly.

I respond to you all, when you get out of line and in defense of my country...Even in that "heaven" of yours TZ, there's hunger and poverty. I would like you to show me one country in Africa that does not have hunger and poverty. Even SA that you all worship has big slums and a lot of poverty. Instead of trying to fix your problems in your country, you want to hem and haw about what your neighbour is doing. Shame on you all!

That is the reason why these debates that touch on each others countries are always going to degenerate into mudslinging and name calling. You surely do not expect Kenyans to sit back and watch and applause you while you abuse us? You have another thought coming then. What is evident is that if you all abuse my country I will surely defend her. It's like an obsession on your part.
