MARKETING OFFICER JOB VACANCY – ZANZIBAR OFFICE​

ECOACT Tanzania Limited is an Award winning social enterprise established to address the challenges of post-consumer plastic waste, ocean plastic pollution, waste management, deforestation, and climate change, we recycle and transform ocean plastic waste and packaging materials into durable plastic timbers used for building, construction as well as furniture making.

Scaling our operations and Opening branch office in Zanzibar we are looking for Zanzibar based Marketing Officer to join our green team.

Job Description

Location and place of work: Zanzibar, Tanzania

Reports to: Head of Marketing and Operations (Head Office)

Job Requirements:

• Holder of Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Experience in sales / marketing activities in a reputable company/organization.
• Knowledge and experience of computer applications word, excel, PPT, internet and email etc.
• Knowledge on graphic design will be an added advantage.
• Applicants should have a high level of discipline, trustworthy and sound work ethics.
• Female candidates and re strongly encouraged to apply.
• Understanding of the culture, surroundings and real life experience of Zanzibar will be an added advantage.
