The company holds a prominent position within the safari industry and we strive to be the best safari company in the industry. As a growing company several vacancies have opened up in the company. Asilia is now looking for energetic and committed individuals to fill the following positions.
1. Camp Managers
Duties and Responsibilities
o The camp manager is responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the camp, from start up to shut down while ensuring quality service to guests and smooth working order of the camp and its staff.
o The manager responds to clients special requests and complaints
o Ensure that the camp is operating in a cost efficient manner
o Welcomes, registers and assigns rooms to clients
o Prepares and submits reports on occupancy, inventory, staff movement, and any financial reports that might be required.
Skills / Attributes Required
o Four years experience in a lodge or camp
o Good organization and administrative skills.
o Excellent attention to detail
o Able to work under pressure
o Prepared to pitch in and help in all areas of the department when required
o Excellent spoken and written English.
o Good computer skills
2. Tanzanian Assistant Camp Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
o Oversee daily bar stock
o Monthly System
o Hosting / Guest interaction
o Back of House experience
Skills / Attributes Required
o Four years experience in a lodge or camp
o Good organization and administrative skills.
o Excellent attention to detail
o Able to work under pressure
o Prepared to pitch in and help in all areas of the department when required
o Excellent spoken and written English.
o Good computer skills
3. Head Chef
This position is key to the success of the Camp and the candidate will be reporting direct to the Camp Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong skills and experience in the following areas: - Culinary, hands on skills in all sections, Menu planning and implementation, food costing and stock management. This person will be a good team player and be able co-operate with the rest of the staff and the procurement.
The ideal candidate will have
o Experience working in a hotel, or lodge environment and ideally in a camp in one of the national parks.
o Must have a passion for food
o Experience in training and motivating a team
o A thorough understanding and experience of what is required to make great meals within the budget.
4. Head Waiter
The deal candidate will have
As a waiter you will be part of a team that serves our guests in our camps.
o Experience working in a hotel or lodge environment and ideally in a camp
o Great personality
o Two years Work experience
o Experience in bar Stock systems
o Strong leadership skills
5. Masseuse ( pedicure & manicure)
We also require a masseuse lady for one of our Camps
The ideal candidate will have
o At least two years experience
o She should be able to work in a team and be a people person who can thrive under pressure.
