40 christians dead as Israel bombed one of the oldest church in the world where 500 christians where seeking shelter!
With the attack on the Baptist hospital, Israel is targeting the orthodox church in it's oldest home, Palestine!
Christian world where are you?!
This church is reportedly one of the oldest churches in the area, and was home to around 100 Christians and some Muslims who were displaced from their homes due to the war (other sources, including the guard of the church, claim the number could be in the hundreds, but we have not been able to verify this)
Al Jazeera and Al Arabiya could only confirm 2 casualties so far, however many claim the number could be a lot higher.
We are waiting for further details to verify those claims.
WHAT HAPPENED:
Initial reports show that Israel bombed this church by firing a missiles.
This caused collateral damage to the church, leading to the collapse of one of the three buildings of the church.
This building belongs to the Greek Orthodox Church in downtown Gaza City.
It's important to note, there were false reports this church was destroyed a few days ago. These reports were rebuked by the church which was unscathed at the time.

This church has confirmed and denounced on its Facebook page the "Israeli bombing of one of its church buildings in Gaza City."
