On Saturday, September 16, 2023, and in the context of the international collaborations of the Hellenic Armed Forces (HEF) in accordance with the planning of the Hellenic Armed Forces, a joint PASSEX (Passing Exercise) exercise was conducted between the Frigate HELLI and the Offshore Patrol Vessel INS SUMEDHA of the Indian Navy, in maritime area south of Crete.

The joint training in question, during which communications, advanced maneuvers and helicopter tows were carried out, is a continuation of a series of activities in which the EDs of Greece and India participated jointly.

In addition, the participation of the Indian Air Force for the first time in the Multinational Exercise “INIOHOS 23” with Su-30 Aircraft, which sealed the close cooperation of the Defense Forces of the two Countries, is highlighted.
