Position: Facilities & Services Officer

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with the quality of meals provided from the messes and the services rendered by the contractor.
  • Ensuring always there is hygiene in the kitchen, mess facility and accommodation area.
  • Management of the accommodation system and ensuring occupancy visibility daily.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and management of the gardening for the areas surrounding camp offices and recreational areas.
  • Ensuring preventive maintenance of the accommodation, kitchen and mess facilities are done appropriately and on time.
  • Provision of high-quality of services and ensure rooms at the accommodation facilities are allocated properly.
  • Ensure employees’ transportation service rendered by the Contractor who is under the Facilities & Services is done appropriately and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with the flight booking system by all employees and contractors.
  • Transfers and hotel accommodations for all customers at the Mine are arranged and executed effectively and on time.
  • Ensure immigration compliance to all visitors and consultants.
  • Provide leadership to ensure that the contractor’s employees working in the Facilities & Service Section adhere to the safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare Daily/Weekly/ Monthly Reports accurately and timely.
  • Schedule Monthly Scorecard Meetings with Facility & Services contractors
  • Identify, notify, and/or rectify all unsafe acts, situations and hazards within the workplace.
  • Ensure the Facilities & Services budget is managed effectively and ensures cost optimization.
  • Ensure that assigned tasks are completed safely and effectively.
  • Ensure Safety and Environmental compliance in all responsible areas.
  • Ensure all incidents are reported and investigated accurately, in accordance with procedure and on time; and assist with any other accident investigation when required
Qualification Requirements:
  • Diploma in Business Administration/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
