If indeed Russia is behind the leaks then they miss calculated if their intentions were to take down HRC. The best time would have been during the primaries right around when Bernie won 9 primaries in a row or something like that. But then seeing that the Russians want Trump it makes sense that they did not want to help Bernie because Trump would have fared even worse against Bernie's populist squeaky clean image plus his 40 year record of being really consistent of really key issues.
