Kila siku tunasoma habari za mashirika kadhaa ya ndege duniani kupata hasara huku wanaotetea hasara hizi wakitumia hoja ya ndege hizo kuleta watalii katika nchi husika kama moja ya sababu ya kuhalalisha hasara hizo jambo ambalo mimi binafsi siliafiki na kwangu mimi huu ni ulimbukeni kabisa.

Kwa mfano,leo hii kuna habari kupitia kupitia hapa JF ikieleza Shirika la Ndege la Kenye(Kenya Airways) kutangaza kupata hasara ya dola milioni 83 kwa kipindi che miezi 6 iliyopita hii ikiwa ni wastani wa hasara ya karibu dola milioni 13.6 kwa mwezi kwa hiyo miezi sita mfululizo.

Hiyo ni Kenya Airways tu, lakini taarifa kama hizi utazisikia pia zikuhusisha mashirika mengine makubwa na makongwe kama vile South African Airways,Ethiopian Airlines, Shirika la ndege la India(Air India) na mengine mengi.

Shirika letu, Air Tanzania, sidhani kama lenyewe ni tofauti na hata mahesabu yake sijui kama yanatolewa hadharani kama ilivyo kwa mashirika ya ndege ya nchi za wenzetu yanayotoa taarifa zake hadharani(kwa walipa kodi).

Binafsi najiuliza,hivi ni lazima na nchi hizi masikini zenye mzigo mkubwa wa madeni huku baadhi hata Bajeti zake zikitegemea misaada na mikopo kutoka mataifa yaliyoendelea, kuendelea kufanya biashara ya anga huku mashirika yake yakitangaza kupata hasara za mamilioni ya dola kila wakati?

Je,ni kweli utalii pamoja na biashara na shughuli zingine zinazotokana na biashara hii ya anga zinaingiza fedha za kutosha na kufidia hasara inayopatikana katika kuendesha biasha hii?

Na hata kama kweli serikali zinafaidika kimapato kwa njia nyingine kutokana na hii biashara ya anga(multipler effect),ndio tuhalalishe hasara hii ya mamilioni ya dola/mabilioni ya shilingi?

Je, ndege hizi zikitua huko katika mataifa ya watu huku zikibeba majina ya nchi na kutangaza nchi zetu, ndio kweli kunahalalisha hasara hizi tunazopata?

Je,hatuoni mtazamo huu wa kuwa ndege zinatangaza nchi ni kama unapandikizwa na watu weupe tunaowaita mabeberu kwa masilahi yao ya kibiasha na sisi bila kutafakari tunaamini ni jambo sahihi?

Mimi nafiki ni bora kwa nchi zetu hizi masikini zikaachana kabisa na hii biashara na badala yake tukaweka mazingira mazuri yatakayovutia mashirika binafsi ya ndani na nje kuendesha hii biashara katika nchi zetu na kama ni watalii, basi watakuja katika mataifa yetu kwa kutumia ndege za mashirika mengine na serikali ibaki tu kukusanya kodi na tozo zingine.

Kwa mfano,serikali zetu zinaweza kupunguza kodi zinazotoza makampuni ya ndege,kupunguza gharama za kupaki ndege katika viwanja vyetu na gharama nyinginezo ili kuvutia mashirika mengi zaidi kufanya hii biashara na hivyo serikali hizi kukusanya mapato zaidi badala ya hizi serikali zenye majukumu mengi kujiingiza katika hii biashara na huku hazipati faida yoyote ya maana au tu kwa lengo eti la kutangaza nchi na mambo mengine ya aina hiyo.

Kama ni kuitangaza nchi na vivutio vyake vya utalii,tunaweza kufanya hivyo kwa export finished products kama korosho huku zikiwa zimefanyiwa parkaging inayoitangaza nchi yetu na vivutio vyake na si lazima kupitia biashara hii ya hasara.

Pia, kama ni kuitangaza nchi, tunaweza fanya hivyo kupitia ushiriki wetu kwenye michezo ya kimtaifa na mambo mengineyo lakini sio kwa ufahari huu wa kumiliki mandege huku yanatutia hasara na kuwa mzigo kwa walipa kodi masikini wa nchi hizi huku wanaofaidika zaidi ni watengenezaji wa hizi ndege na nchi husika zinazokusanya kodi kutoka makampuni yanayotengeza hizi ndege.

Na mwisho tujiulize kama nchi zote duniani, zikiwemo nchi zilizoendelea,kila nchi inamiliki shirika lake la ndege?

Na kama ni lazima,basi biashara hii ifanywe kwa ubia na sekta binafsi badala ya serikli hizi kumiliki na kuendesh hii biashara kwa asilimia 100 wakati serikali kama yetu teyari imesha-prove failure katika swala zima la kufanya biashara.

Tusiigie kila kitu na tukumbuke haya mataifa makubwa licha ya kutupa misaada,lakini bado yanatoa mpaka unemployment benefits kwa wananchi wao wasio na ajira.

Mataifa,hasa hizi nchi zetu masikini,tusishandane na wala tusione ufahari kumiliki ndege kama ambavyo tunashindana na kuona ufahari kumiliki vikombe vya ushindi(trophies) katika michezo, kwani ni makosa kuitazama ndege kama kitu cha ushindi na ufahari kama ilivyo katika kutwaa na kumiliki kikombe cha ushindi kwenye michezo na ninasema hivi kwasababu mimi kama mimi, naona mtazamo huu(mentality hii) ndio inatuponza na badala yake nashauri tuangalie zaidi ni nini tunapata kama mataifa kwa ukwekezaji huu na tubadilike inapobidi.
 
Umeandika sana lakini hoja yako kuu ni mfu kwa sababu umeshindwa tambua kuwa KQ inaendeshwa kwa ubia wa KLM, wanahisa wakenya na Serikali ya Kenya kidogo.

Kwa sasa Serikali ya Kenya imepitisha hoja ya ku-nationalize KQ iwe 100% na serikali ili kunusuru kutoka kwenye hilo janga la kufa...
 
Umeandika sana lakini hoja yako kuu ni mfu kwa sababu umeshindwa tambua kuwa KQ inaendeshwa kwa ubia wa KLM, wanahisa wakenya na Serikali ya Kenya kidogo.
