Wife Burns Husband to Death for Not Washing His Feet !

Every once in a while you run across a story that just makes you shake your head in disbelief. A newly married woman burns her husband to death because he got into bed without washing his feet.

On March 4, 2008, Wang and his wife, Luo, who were married a little over a month and had fought for much of their short marriage, drank a bottle of liquor together to "ease their anger" over their latest marital spat.

At approximately 10 pm that night, both drunk, Luo was angered further as they went to bed and she saw Wang get in the bed without washing his feet.

In a fit of pique, Luo set the bed sheet on fire under Wang. He woke up and they continued arguing until Wang collapsed and the bedroom became engulfed in fire. Luo escaped to the living room and Wang burned to death.

According to the Xinhua news agency, Luo was arrested.
