Why Magufuli administration misses the point on Government splurge

Photogenic, indeed, but let everyone who names the name of the Lord God Christ Jesus the only Amen departs from iniquity or he has received his reward from men whom he is unabashedly courting justification and regretfully not from the throne of mercy.

Perhaps the best message of Lent Wednesday is a wisely reminder we are ashes to ashes and dust to dust...

We have always been long on applauding both the effort and intent but short in appraising the effectiveness of drastic measures declared and vigorously pursued by our post colonial administrations.

Nyerere was lauded for Azimio la Arusha but he later admitted the policy tools and directions were faulty, and economic decimation was all too much of an eyesore to all of us. The legacy of Nyerere administration will always be soiled by sheer levels of economic mismanagements despite genuine efforts to address causes and effects of our underdevelopment.

Mwinyi administration was accorded a red carpet reverence for the frantic effort to undo "Nyerereism" via the antithesis of the Zanzibar declaration but we all know better the indigenization of our economy took a back seat as the economy was placed in grubby hands of aliens.

Mkapa administration cemented official graft while its successive administration of Jakaya Kikwete approved it in all its pernicious forms.

Then comes Magufuli administration while a couple of weeks in office seems lacking ideas of how to reform the government, and has so far been generating plenty of heat but very little substance.

Sweeteners may taste good on mouth but in the stomach are likely to foment gastric juice notorious for corroding the intestines. What this nation needs is reforms on good governance where accountability has been sacrificed at the altar of nepotism and sycophancy.

We need to restore pre-independence accountability if we are to reach where a president has no business to snatch duties and responsibilities of his juniors but to oversee them.

For start, he needs to acknowledge NEC ought to be fully investigated by an impartial commission how it conducted this election despite its numerous vain claims that the election was free, fair and transparent. We need a legislation to empower that commission but we also need the same commission to investigate thoroughly how this very partisan police interfered with the electoral process. We cannot face another election where UKAWA are adamant they were shortchanged and we have a president who may or may not be a squatter at our IKULU pretending to bribe us with "peremende" and expect for a different result.

On government splurge, we need concrete policies and pieces of legislation like capping staff emoluments based on a ratio of recurrent expenditure. What I have seen; so far, is a battle of nomenclatures which past administrations fought with equal zeal but lost because they never identified policy tools to do it.
What you are thinking will never happen on this soil, miracles need to happen before Tanzania can change interms of governance. ZIDUMU FIKRA ZA KIPUMBAFU ZA MWENYEKITI

The difference between the ruling party and the opposition is blurred because for the first time in the short history of CCM gunning topmost job leads to losing party membership.

This is atypical to the opposition. Both in CCM and the opposition leadership is a personal property to the beholder of the day and jostling to unseat them is akin to commit the original sin whose consequences among others include death of your membership!

Membe should go to court, and not jump into oblivion of the wilderness of the opposition moonlighting politics, and fight his tormentors like a real man in the corridors of the court if he succumbs to ccm stratagem he is politically finished: loaded Lowassa tried and failed, charismatic Kambona pioneered but never established a foothold and so were Sumaye, and Dr. Slaa among a list of the ruling party luminaries who defied the party dictatorial ethos with most of them recoiling their tails after had unabashedly begged their tormentors to have mercy upon their meekly souls ... And their tormentors gleefully acquiesced with pomp, praising their victims for coming to their senses! What a melodrama!

He needs to keep himself in the limelight and lead the opposition without stepping his feet into the opposition
God could be using him in a different capacity and may fulfill the will of God, not of houses of clay - men!

I fully subscribe to the definition of Tanasha of a narcissist particularly when she says he is a bully, selfish, self centered , unaccountable, insynch with the devil hurling sanctimonious love upon his victims to sooth the pain of unceasing torment

So he is everything about himself and everybody about him alone so you must worship his belly to please him, and him alone or a highway is where you belong

Laughter conceal deep suspicions on the incoming election.

Zenji election annulment was hailed and today not even an apology is asked shows lack of seriosity and solemnity of the matter at hand.

Take part on the next election at own peril and legitimize rigging and later shed some crocodile tears we will be there to feast on that reality comedy

We have only one JK, and his name is Julius Kambarage.

He is a father of the nation and the founder of the ruling party, Chama Cha Mapinduzi [ CCM ].

While others are trying to forge even his synonymous for political advantages, we as a youth are still embracing his legacy left to this nation [ Tanzania ].

Now, if these forgery syndicates are economically fit and politically stable, let them join and form their strong - bond political party.

And it can either be Bagamoyo Party [ BP ] or whatever they are going to name it 😂😂😂.

But, Chama Cha Mapinduzi [ CCM ] will and always belong to the Mwitongo's family. And I hope everything is clear now!

My crystal ball eye informs me the ruling party is deploying divide and rule trickery to hoodwink the opposition to the abattoir and some seemly out of endemic poverty are falling over to lick whatever crumbs dropping and oozing under the high table... Teh Teh Teh

If what my crystal ball discerns is true then expect no cdm MP to survive the oncoming 2020 political carnage.. But bootlickers such as cuf, nccr mageuzi, act wazalendo among a handful of ccm leaning opposition political parties will be spared to delude development partners multiparty democracy still roars in this part of the world...Hopefully, Uncle Sam is distracted by the horrors of Coronavirus... Teh Teh Teh

Well, time will tell if the haggling for parliamentary seats between ccm and her puppets is as my crystal ball portends.. And if this is the gospel truth then we never had have even a similitude of multiparty elections since its reincarnation in 1992 but shambled elections

She is being groomed to unseat both the House Speaker and Mbeya rapper cum MP Sugu akin of hitting two birds with one stone...Such an herculean task only possible if your godfather is capable of pulling the strings. Then the most puzzling question is what are the esoteric motives? Why burn many a bridge and is it worthwhile? Once you incorporate we are dust to dust and ashes to ashes so whatever we do if not fulfilling the will of the mighty God we are grinding water in a fragile crucible and the maggots can't wait to feast on our cadaver

Her meteoritic ascendancy in political arena coincided with the rise and rise of the putative leader. Is it really coincidental insurgence or where there are plumes underneath are simmering steamy fires? Or am I reading too much?

But of more significance is, she seems cold calculating, confrontational, insensitive and insular from brushing aside her rivals as she is angling to sate her insatiable political ambitions which may include the most coveted prize of all: wrapping up the 2025 new magogoni occupancy really not out of her gangly clutches .... Am I a dreamer or a prophet? Only time is our best repudiator.

Some facts need no proof, though, that while sending her boss packing to Mpwapwa is within her striking distance given the opaqueness and dearth of internal democracy within her party but unseating resilient Sugu is easier said than done. It may require plenty of bloodletting am serious afraid.. Sadly, even before the political dust has settled in her favor, her lanky hands and of her brash superior will be dripping with innocent blood shed to protect their votes in defiance of being robbed in daylight from expressing themselves and within the bounds of the law. .. ( Due to high public demand this subject will be revisited later on)
