It’s very surprisingly to know that majority of Africans do neither care nor even knowing about major conflicts going on inside Africa but they are so much occupied and care about conflicts going on elsewhere especially middle east.
study shows about 60% of Africans are aware of conflicts in middle east while out of them only 10% knows about problems and conflicts going on inside Africa.

most Africans knows about al-qaeda, al aqsa martry brigade, hamas, plo, hizbollah to the extent of even knowing the names of their leaders but they do not know even the names of the groups that are causing havoc and destruction in Africa like e.g. CNDD, FDD, LRA, AL SHABAB, CABINDA rebels in angola,CNDP much less their leaders.

the most surprising part of it is how the same African care so much about the conflicts in the middle east to the extent of opening even some forums, discussions and to some extent even holding rallies but the number of death for example from the fighting in congo, uganda, sudan, somalia, undeclared civil wars in west Africa far exceed those in the middle east.

is there any logic explanations for this? are we African that stupid or that much brainwashed?

It is that slave mentality that makes our people to treat every white person as a superior being and be willing to grant all kinds of concessions while maltreating their own people/s.

It is that colonial mentality that makes Europeans, Americans, Arabs, and even Indians to act big when they are in Africa without many of us showing our contempt and resentment for their conduct.

This is an interesting theory that you pose, but i honestly think it's hogwash, perhaps if you posted links to the relevant sources of this 'study' of your's then people might actually think it's serious. [IMG]
