Kwa nini? Kama hoja ni kampuni kumilikiwa na mafisadi basi tusibague voda peke yake. Ziorodheshwe kampuni zote za aina hiyo pamoja na bidhaa zake. Au ni vita ya kibiashara?

Na wabunge wapigane bungeni kutunga sheria upesi sana kudemand court order kuweza kumonitor simu za watu, na sio kama sasa usalama na especially vodacom kumonitor simu za raia bila reason muhimu za kisheria, ila kutaka tu kufuatilia mambo ya raia ambao hawajavunja sheria zozote za nchi.

Ukienda ofisini kwa DCI, IGP, na DG TISS utaona mitambo ya kusikiliza simu zozote nchini kwa kuweka tu namba husika na mazungumzo yote yanatoka live. Hii ni insanity na POLICE STATE.

Kwa kuwa fisadi papa ana hisa nyingi kwenye kampuni hii, inawezekana mazungumzo na sms wanazotumiana wanaharakati dhidi ya ufisadi yananaswa na kupelekwa kwa mhusika mkuu (fisadi papa a.k.a the king maker).

Ku boycott bidhaa fulani ina takiwa utoe sababu za msingi. Kwenye thread yako mzee hauja sema kwa nini tufanye hivyo bali umesema tu ina bidi tufanya hivyo. Kama pundamilia alivyo sema kuwepo kwa Vodacom kuna faida kwa baadhi ya wattu haswa walio ajiriwa na hiyo kampuni. Leo ukiboycott Vodacoma na ikifaa wangapi wata poteza ajira na wata ajiriwa wapi?

Pia tuna takiwa kuangalia pia ubora wa bidhaa. Kama mimi nipo nje ya Tanzania and the only way I can communicate with some loed ones in Tanzania is through Vodacom. Sasa hao wapendwa wangu wakiacha kutumia kampuni hiyo ina maana mimi mawasiliano na wao ni basi mpaka ipatikane alternative. Sasa kwa sisi ambao ni lazima uwepo wa Vodacom ili tuwasiliane na baadhi ya watu ambao ni dear kwetu una tupa alternative gani?

Japo hauja toa sababu ya kwa nini una taka watu waache kutumia Vodacom it seems una matatizo na wamiliki lakini siyo product ya Vodacom. Je ni sawa kuacha kutumia bidhaa bora kwa ajili ya wamiliki wake? Na je hizo kampuni zingine za simu tuna uhakika gani umiliki wake ni takatifu? Unaweza uka kuta kampuni kibao ambazo ni za muhimu kwa Tanzania zina some element ya ufisadi because there is no way of tracking down every owner and the legitimacy of their income. Hata mtu aliye safi leo waweza kuta at some point ali cheza foul kupata hela. Pia kuna makampuni unaweza kuta tuna dhani ina umiliki safi kumbe hatujui nature za hayo makampuni.

Cha msingi ndugu MwanaKijiji fafanua kwa nini una taka watu wasusie Vodacom? Nini kime kufanya ufikirie hivi? Nina uhakika ume tafakari kabla ya kuja na post hii kwa hiyo natumai haita kua kazi kwako kutueleza imekuaje kuaje umeamua kuwa Vodacom ina paswa kususiwa. VODA CUSTOMERS​
This is a fact, you may verify yourself. Written by Voda customer who is tied of voda

Calling Voda to Voda is Tshs 360 per minute. Calling from Voda to other networks in the country is Tshs 560 per minute. Voda SMS to all networks is Tshs 60 per sms.

Ok,
Calling Tigo to Tigo Tshs 300 per minute. Calling from Tigo to other networks in the country is Tshs 360 per minute. Tigo sms to all networks is Tshs 45 per sms.

Calling Zantel to Zantel is Tshs 250 per minute. Calling from Zantel to other networks in the country is Tshs 275 per minute.

Just by looking above assuming calling/usage time is constant, Tigo customers would spend more than 40% or 50% (depending on other packages listed below) less compared to Voda customer whereas Zantel customer would spend less than 55% compared to voda customer.
Assume Voda customer use 100,000 per month, then Tigo would use less than Tshs 60,000 whereas Zantel customer would use just some shs above 40,000.

For a voda customer spending Tshs 50,000 per month, Tigo customer would spend a range of Tshs 20,000 to 30,000 per month, whereas Zantel customer could spend even less.

Other packages!
  • Tigo has extreme call package whereby you subscribe Tshs 1500 and you call all Tigo number from 6.00am to 6.00 pm. Comparatively Voda has the same service called Chizika but you NEVER be able to subscribe whenever you want-if you think I am joking try *147# and dial (which is a way to subscribe to free unlimited call for 12hrs from 6.00am) to see if you will get through. Definitely you will be told to try again tomorrow! You will be very lucky if you get through. Friends have been saying for every 1000 people one gets through! Anyway Vodacom does not want you to know this service because they have not even advertised it. Have you heard or seen chizika advert anywhere if it is not only one found along Ali Hassan Mwinyi road in Dar es Salaam?
For your information with Zantel you can call zantel customers for 24hrs with only Tshs1500. only that zantel customers are not as many.

  • Tigo has sms extreme package whereby you subscribe Tshs 500 and send sms to ALL networks for 12hrs from 6.00am. Voda despite of charging Tshs 15 more on every sms, it does not give any releaf package in this area. Zain (not Zantel) has the same package by subscribing Tshs 400. It is not my intention to bring in Zain now since its calling cost is almost like voda’s

  • With Tigo you can call for one shilling from 6.00pm to 5.59am to tigo to tigo. So from extreme call you enjoy during the day, in the evening you have another relief. Huree! Voda has almost the same relief but this one starts at 10.00pm to 5.59am. Despite of that “dead night time” you have to try yourself to see if you can get through a call. It is not easy even you have an emergency!

  • With Tigo you can call tigo subscribers for one shilling from Friday 6.00 to Monday 5.59am! By that Time, voda customers are calling voda subscribers for normal rate Tshs 360 and non voda subscribers for Tshs 560! ALAS VODA!

  • Even with Zain (Celtel), one is far better off compared to voda!

Some rumors created which make people not to shift.
1. Voda has very extensive network and is reliable! Fact check: If you are based in Dar or another city and you call most networks with certainty from Tigo, Zantel or Zain then the above rumor is cheating people! If voda was reliable it could be reliable when you subscribe to chizika and when you make even emergency call from 10.00pm.
2. Remember, you don’t travel so much in the interior parts of the country. If you are sure of been where you are for 11months of the year without going to interior parts of the country, then you don’t need voda. You can reach interior people with whatever network they may be through Zantel, Tigo or even Zain with much cheaper rates.

Advise:
1. We don’t have to be fool. We are incurring much much much higher cost by being voda subscriber compared to Tigo, Zantel and somewhat Zain friends! I don’t think if there will be any person on earth except fool who will be happy and comfortable to pay higher rate for less! This is what voda customers we are getting!
2. Corporate customers who pay for their employees airtime could save up to 40% or 50% if encourage their employees to shift to cheaper networks. Company may leave airtime rates (they give to employees) at where they are and they are will minimize to a great deal number of complaints on air time increases by employees. If you are giving your employee an airtime of Tshs 50,000 in Voda and he/she complains, with Tigo, Zantel or even Zain (somewhat) complaints will be very very minimal!

Sababu zako tumezisikia lakini kumbuka kuwa makampuni yote ya simu za mkononi yamekuwa yakishindana na Vodacom kwa sababu Vodacom wamekuwa na subscribers wengi zaidi.

Sawa yote haya nimekuelewa mkuu ila kumbuka kuwa services is on a person to person basis. Kama nilivyo sema niko nje ya nchi, wengi ninao wasiliana nao nyumbani wana tumia vodacom kwa ajili ya internet connection zao. Wao Mmoja wa watu hao ninao wasiliana nao simu yake internet is only compatible with Voda so nae ahame Voda? Kama niliyo sema simu zina serices mbali na it's on a person to person basis ndiyo maana mpaka sasa Vodacom ina wateja despite hizo rates ulizo zitaja. Na mfano wa hiyo person to person basis ni Zantel ambayo ina the best rates lakini bado ina customers wachache, hapo umeona?

Lakini pia Mwanakijiji hajasema kama watu wahame odacom kutokana na rates, services au kitu kingine. Ange taka watu wahame based on rates si ange weka taarifa uliyo weka hapo wewe juu na mtu aka jiamulia. Ukweli ni kwamba kutokana na alicho kiandika mwanzisha thread haionyeshi ni kwa sababu gani ana taka watu wahame. Wewe umetoa sababu ya kwanini haupo Vodacom lakini sababu yako wewe yaweza isiwe sababu ya Mwanakijiji. Mimi nimemjibu kutokana na alicho kipost yeye. Kama nia yake ilikua watu wahame because of rates ange fanya wewe ulicho fanya na kubandika hizo rates ila yeye bado haja toa sababu. As much as I respect and thank you for your data bado naona we should hear from the thread owner himself because sababu zenu zaweza zikawa tofauti.

This is an open forum tena watu wana tumia aliases. Ikija kwenye post kama hizi mtu lazima aweke sababu zake waze laa sivyo huyo mtu ana promote tu personal interests. Nilicho muomba mwanakijiji ni kwamba atoe sababu zake. Na kama ni suala la rates na services ni kama niliyo sema kuwa it's on a person to person basis na kilicho nafuu kwako cha weza kisiwa nafuu au anacho kitafuta mwingine. Mwanakijiji atoe basi sababu zake yeye ili tuchambua hoja za muanzisha thread mwenyewe.

Huwa nakubaliana nawe katika mengi lakini kwa hili naona umepotoka. Makampuni yote ya simu TZ ni ya kifisadi hakuna lililo safi hata moja. Kuna post moja nilishawahi kuisoma hapa ngonja niitafute niiweke hapa. Kwa hili nakupinga kabisa Mwanakijiji, sikubali sikubali sikubaliani na wewe hata kidogo. Na wala siungi mkono ufisadi hata kidogo. Kama kuna madude ya Vodacom yaweke hapa hadharani watu tujue na vyombo husika vipate habari.
 
Uzuri ni kwamba Mwanakijiji HAJAMLAZIMISHA MTU kuachana na VODACOM.Na kama mnaopinga hoja yake mngesoma vizuri title ya hoja hiyo,amenza na neno WANAHARAKATI...So,if you're not mwanaharakati,haina haja ya kuendeleza malumbano haya.Na hata kama u-mwanaharakati,hujalazimishwa kuhama.Kumtaka Mwanakijiji atoe maelezo zaidi ya tahadhari aliyokwishatoa ni sawa na kutaka kuendeleza malumbano yasiyo na tija.

Wenye kuelewa mantiki yake tumeelewa,na tutazingatia tahadhari yake.Wasieoelewa wanaweza kuuliza (badala ya kupinga) waleleweshwe zaidi.Wasiotaka kukubaliana na tahadhari hiyo,regardless ni wanaharakati or not,ni poa tu.Ndio maana hata tunapolaani ufisadi unaolelewa na CCM kuna wenzetu wengine wanaotuona kana kwamba tuna chuki binafsi na chama hilo mufilisi.

Makampuni ya simu Tanzania na ufisadi wake:

(a). VodaCom- Kuna RA (share holder 35 %), Somaiya (Shivacom -super dealer ), Lowasa - Alphatel (dealer)

(b). Zain (wameifisadi TTCL hadi ikabinafsishwa kwa bei chee na wameingia TZ kwa wizi na utapeli mkubwa)

(c). Tigo (wamekuwa wakibadili majina kila baada ya miaka 5 kukwepa kodi: 2001 from Mobitel to Buzz, 2006 from Buzz to Tigo) na ukifuatilia tangu kuanzishwa kwake mwaka 1993 ikishirikiana na shirika la posta na simu wakati huo mpaka sasa ime-undergo several dubious contracts na serikali. Mpaka sasa kampuni inamilikiwa na Millicom ya Luxemburg kwa asilimia 100 % kinyume na sheria za nchi

(d). TTCL - hii nayo imebinafsishwa kwa Wa-Kanada kifisadi kupita kawaida na bila shaka mafisadi wana share huko. Kwahiyo tunatupa simu zote na kufunga landline zetu zote tuwasiliane kwa internet na barua.

Earversdroping kama sijakosea,ni kinyume cha sheria unless otherwise justified by National security purposes....Na kwasababu National Security ni yenyewe inahusisha kuwalinda wenye kuhodhi madaraka,bila kujali udikteta ama ufisadi wao,then udikteta/ufisadi unakuwa ndo National security concerns zenyewe za watawala na wazalendo ndo wanakuwa target,ndo ukweli wenyewe huo,we'll wait and see for sure,lakini mfano wangu ni kwamba,hata usalama wa Taifa wa serikali ya kidikteta,ni kulinda usalama wa dikteta na kufacilitate udikteta,same with ufisadi etc,inategemeana na sera za watawala...Sasa hapo jazia.

VODA CUSTOMERS​

This is a fact, you may verify yourself. Written by Voda customer who is tied of voda

Calling Voda to Voda is Tshs 360 per minute. Calling from Voda to other networks in the country is Tshs 560 per minute. Voda SMS to all networks is Tshs 60 per sms.

Ok,
Calling Tigo to Tigo Tshs 300 per minute. Calling from Tigo to other networks in the country is Tshs 360 per minute. Tigo sms to all networks is Tshs 45 per sms.

Calling Zantel to Zantel is Tshs 250 per minute. Calling from Zantel to other networks in the country is Tshs 275 per minute.




Other packages!
  • Tigo has extreme call package whereby you subscribe Tshs 1500 and you call all Tigo number from 6.00am to 6.00 pm. Comparatively Voda has the same service called Chizika but you NEVER be able to subscribe whenever you want-if you think I am joking try *147# and dial (which is a way to subscribe to free unlimited call for 12hrs from 6.00am) to see if you will get through. Definitely you will be told to try again tomorrow! You will be very lucky if you get through. Friends have been saying for every 1000 people one gets through! Anyway Vodacom does not want you to know this service because they have not even advertised it. Have you heard or seen chizika advert anywhere if it is not only one found along Ali Hassan Mwinyi road in Dar es Salaam?
For your information with Zantel you can call zantel customers for 24hrs with only Tshs1500. only that zantel customers are not as many.

  • Tigo has sms extreme package whereby you subscribe Tshs 500 and send sms to ALL networks for 12hrs from 6.00am. Voda despite of charging Tshs 15 more on every sms, it does not give any releaf package in this area. Zain (not Zantel) has the same package by subscribing Tshs 400. It is not my intention to bring in Zain now since its calling cost is almost like voda's
  • With Tigo you can call for one shilling from 6.00pm to 5.59am to tigo to tigo. So from extreme call you enjoy during the day, in the evening you have another relief. Huree! Voda has almost the same relief but this one starts at 10.00pm to 5.59am. Despite of that "dead night time" you have to try yourself to see if you can get through a call. It is not easy even you have an emergency!
  • With Tigo you can call tigo subscribers for one shilling from Friday 6.00 to Monday 5.59am! By that Time, voda customers are calling voda subscribers for normal rate Tshs 360 and non voda subscribers for Tshs 560! ALAS VODA!
  • Even with Zain (Celtel), one is far better off compared to voda!
