Nimepita sehemu ya Jangwani juzi na hali ya pale inasikitisha.
Kwa sasa mapito ya mto yamebadilika kabisa, na mto Msimbazi haukidhi overland flow ya storm water-maji ya mvua.
Pale kumewekezwa rasilmali kadhaa, tena nzito, moja ni karakana ya UDART.

Kutokana na hali halisi ya mabadiliko ya maji yanayokusanywa upstream, tukumbuke kuwa eneo la kukusanya maji ya mto Msimbazi ni lile lile, lakini kutokana na ujenzi wa nyumba nyingi sana kadri miaka inavyoenda, ile tunaita percolation into the soil imepungua sana(maji kuingia ardhini).
Hivyo maji yote yanaelekezwa bonde la mto Msimbazi.
Daraja la mo Msimbazi si tu kwamba halitosh bali mchanga na vifusi vimepunguza sana ufanisi wa daraja.

Mimi ni mhandisi, kuna njia mbili au tatu kurekebisha hali hii.
Na njia zote zinahitaji uwekezaj mkubwa sana.
  1. Kutengeneza waterway toka Selander Bridge mpaka Kigogo. Yaani kuupanua sana mto, na isiwe kadaraja ka mita 50 pale Jangwani bali hata mita 100 au 150 ili hata boti ziweze kupita chini.
  2. Kunyanyua sana tuta toka Fire hadi Magomeni Mapipa, sambamba na kupanua daraja na kuondoa kifusi mtoni(dredging). Hii itafanya njia kupitika vipindi vyote.
  3. Kufanya protected river training kuanzia mwisho wa waterway hapo juu hadi Vingunguti.

Naamini tusipo badilisha mawazo jinsi ya kutatua matatizo ya kufurika Jangwani, tutaonekana kama wahandisi tusioenda na wakati.

Tukumbuke kwa waiofika Netherlands, karibia 26% ya eneo la nchi yote iiko below sea level.
Na 50% ya nchi nzima iko 1metre above sea level.
Yaani ni sawa na nchi nzima kuwa kama eneo la Coco Beach, lakini ni wahandisi waliookoa hali na nchi inakalika.

Hilo ndio lilitakiwa lifanyike kipindi kunajengwa mradi wa dart na tulijua wanafanya hivyo kunyanyua kunzia mapipa mpka fire,mwisho wa cku hela imepigwa na malaika wa ofisi ya pale mandela road.
Huwa hawaguswi pamoja na kupata ripoti chafu kila mwaka kwa CAG.hii awamu inapiga kazi tu

Ujue wale makandarasi wa UDART siyo kama walikuwa hawajui hilo walikuwa wanalijua vizuri tatizo hii project iliperekwa harakaharaka ili ikamilike 2015 impe mtu flani credit kwenye kampeni ndo maana akazindua yeye kipindi kile so it was political pressure to complete that project early regardless its effects

Kaka mi naomba uelewe kuwa eneo la Jangwani ni almost Sea Level, yaani wakati wa High tides (Bamvua) maji ya bahari huwa yanatapikia hayo maeneo ya bonde la jangwani, Bonde la Mkwajuni, pamoja na Bonde la Magomeni, kiuhalisia hilo eneo alihitaji ujenzi wa aina yoyote zaidi ya kuachwa na kuwa hifadhi ya Mikoko tu

Natamani haya mawazo pia ungewafikishia mnaporuwa kwenye ERB meetings zenu kila mwaka.. ivi hamna forums za kubadilishana mawazo? yaani hata ikikosekana chance unatumia style ya kuchomekea so that they get the message... Netherlands nimeona jinsi walivyojenga zile dykes, jinsi mito ilivyopanuliwa na kujengewa na usafirishaji wa mizigo unafanywa sana kwa hizi canals, pia watu wanasafiri kwa boti kuona mji kwa kupitia canals..... sasa hapa wameweka karakana pale pale kwenye shamba la mpunga ambapo wananchi wa kawaida hawatakiwi kuishi... sasa imebackfire, hasara kubwa na hapo bado mvua haijachanganya...

Haya ni mawazo ya watu wasio kula Ugali maharagwe.
Tatizo letu sisi watanzania ugali maharagwe unaharibu Ubongo wetu na ndio maana miradi mingi tunaharibu sana.
Mkuu umewaza kitu cha maana sana AKILI KUBWA sana wewe.

Mawazo murua kabisaa......... ERB kwenye zile Engineers day waache kupiga porojo bali waweke topic kama hizi zijadiliwe.

pale ni rahisi sana kupajenga na kufanya kuwa eneo la utalii kama usemavyo... Canal chini na daraja kubwa litakalounganisha Magomeni na FAYA, hiyo Canal itasababisha easy flow ya maji kwenye njia yake.. na pembezoni itakuwa eneo la utalii na wale wapenda kuvua kama kawaida watafanya yao..

Hatua muhimu ya kwanza ni kumnyonga hadharani mhandisi aliyeshauli ofisi na gereji za UDART ijengwe pale jangwani,angalau ningemuona ana akili timamu angechukua level ya muhimbili ndo angeinulia pale lakini kuruhusu majengo ya mabilion kujegwa bondeni vile ni kusudi na kuchokoza hasira za walipa kodi tu.Leo hii pale panahitaji marekebisho makubwa wakati mradi hata miaka mitano haijapita.

Mkuu kumbuka wanao amua mambo mazito kama unayosuggest si wahandisi bali wanasheria ,wanasiasa na wachumi.
Na jambo zito kama hili likienda kwa wanasheria, wachumi na wanasiasa consideration inageuka kabisa, mambo ya 10% ndo yanazingatiwa Zaidi.
Tumeona kwenye madini na mambo mengine nyeti, kada ya viongozi bila aibu wanavyojaza matumbo yao without consideration to the nation.
Lakini kwa kipindi hiki cha JPM, hili linaweza kutekelezwa, maana mzee wa push up hataki mchezo.

Si Jangwani tu hata daraja la mto Mbezi halikidhi hali halisi ya sasa maana hata mvua za kawaida tu maji yanapita juu ya daraja. Daraja hili linatakiwa liwe refu zaidi na kina kiongezwe kwa juu ili takataka aina ya miti na vyuma virefu vipite kirahisi.
Mipango ya kuboresha kingo za mito na vijito vya Jijini Dar nu muhimu kwa sasa.

Huwa wanawaza attendance tu ili wapige TZS 350,000.00 per engineer! Wahandisi approx. 5,000 walihudhuria sherehe hizo mwaka huu kule Dodoma (5,000 x TZS 350,000.00)!
