wakati mwingine kukaa kimya ni bora zaidi, ulijaribu kufuatilia ukweli wa madai yako?

Baada ya kusikia chadema watatoa pole ya dola 2000 wameona wawahi. Km kawaida mzee wa roho nyeupe km theluji alikuwa anauza nywele zake nyeupe. Kamati yake ndo imeongoza mchango huo.e.l in action.

MPs, House staff contribute 37.08m/- for bomb victims




Less than a quarter of Gongo la Mboto Jeshini primary school pupils are attending classes with the majority staying away, citing lingering fear of last week’s blasts.
The school situated inside the military barracks which has 1,700 pupils, has seen less than 200 pupils return to class since Friday last week.
A teacher who spoke on behalf of the school headmaster, and would only give one name of Rwebangira said most pupils are still suffering from shock from what they experienced last week and that the morale is very low among those who are attending classes. Others reportedly fled the area with their parents.
During yesterday’s visit to the school, 14 of the 22 classrooms were half empty while eight classrooms were without a single pupil.
The bombs destroyed pupil’s toilets at the school and also cause big cracks on some classrooms.
“Everything here is not good. Many pupils are not attending classes and even those who are, the morale is very low,” he said.
Rwebangira said even the teachers have been affected as one of their colleagues had lost all his properties when a bomb hit his house, burning it down.
Many pupils at the school live at the barracks while others stay in the neighbourhoods.
Only a few students were in class at Juhudi secondary school also located in the barracks.
The school Headmaster, Mwambaja Andulile cited lingering fear of recurrence of the blasts.
“Four of our students and three teachers were seriously wounded by the blasts,” he disclosed.
He said the school needed immediate help as all Form Four students were studying under trees after their classrooms were demolished by the blasts.
Andulile said all chairs in one of the classrooms were destroyed by the bombs, rendering them unusable, while use of the administration, computer and laboratory rooms had been suspended due to big cracks on the walls.
“We need immediate help. Things are not moving well here as you can see all Form Four students are studying outside, due to lack of classrooms,” he said.
Deputy Head teacher of Pugu Kajiungeni Primary School, Chrisophora Ligazio said only half of the 2,045 pupils are back in classrooms.
She said her school has information that only one pupil was lost and that his parents were searching for him.
Ligazio also said four teachers who were on internship at the school have not yet reported for work, adding that her office is still tracing them.
“We have been trying to phone them but they are unreachable. We don’t know where these teachers are. If we do not get them by tomorrow (Today) we will report the matter to relevant authorities,” Ligazio said.
The Gongo la Mboto bomb blasts saw more than 26 people dead and more than 300 injured with a number of properties destroyed.
Meanwhile, Members of Parliament and staff of the National Assembly have contributed 37.8m/- in support of the Gongo la Mboto victims.
Speaker of the National Assembly, Anne Makinda handed over a cheque worth the amount yesterday to the acting Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Said Meck Sadick when she visited the Tanzania People’s Defence Forces (TPDF) Gongo la Mboto barracks yesterday and later visited the injured at Ilala and Amana hospitals.
Makinda said the MPs received with shock and sadness the reports of the bomb blasts and decided to contribute to the victims.
She said the MPs contributed their one day allowance which they are paid in parliamentary meetings.
Receiving the cheque, the acting RC Said Meck Sadick expressed gratitude and pledged that the money will be spent for the purchase of food and other necessary items for the victims.
For his part, the Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Officer, (Policy, Coordination and Parliamentary Affairs), William Lukuvi said the government will ensure that accurate assessment is done to avoid repeat of the Mbagala saga.

Mshirika mkubwa sana wa maendeleo (in whatever sense that is), you don't just play it low when that kind of guy gets it. You act boldly!

They have got to know you're there for them too, however poor!
