He humbly lay down and let his blood flow into a special bottle at his office he spared for the noble cause early this week.
This is none other than the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Tanzania, Ali Abdallah Aljarbou, who donated the precious liquid for the Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) blood bank.
The ambassador said after he donated the blood along with four other diplomats and other Tanzanian workers and neighbours that the move by the embassy to donate blood was not only to save the lives of people in need of blood but a gesture on cordial relations Saudi Arabia was enjoying with Tanzania.
``Blood is certainly a life sustaining liquid.
Our blood donation is a manifestation of the cordial relations my country is enjoying with Tanzania,`` he said.
