Whether online or through physically attending his classes, you might have seen Hans Rosling presenting stunning stats, educating some of us via TED conferences. Why you should listen to him? Click here to read.

    1. The first video of him I saw was a 19:50sec long. It was posted in 2006 re: Hans Rosling shows the best stats you've ever seen (see below)
    2. The second one was 18:57sec long, posted in June 2007 re: Hans Rosling's new insights on poverty (see below)
    3. The recent presentation from him is a 9:56sec long video recorded at TED2009 (held in February 2009, Long Beach, California), in which Hans presents New facts on HIV and stunning data visuals (see below).
[IMG]As a doctor and researcher, Hans Rosling identified a new paralytic disease induced by hunger in rural Africa. Now the global health professor is looking at the bigger picture, increasing our understanding of social and economic development with the remarkable trend-revealing software he created.
Hans Rosling unveils new data visuals that untangle the complex risk factors of one of the world's deadliest (and most misunderstood) diseases: HIV. He argues that preventing transmissions -- not drug treatments -- is the key to ending the epidemic.
