Vichekesho ndani ya vitabu vya TET

Watu wengi wamesoma makala kwenye gazeti la The Guardian la tarehe 14-05-2017 kuhusu kitabu cha Kiingereza darasa la 3 cha TET na utani wao unaoendelea hivi sasa kwamba Dodoma ni “big city” ya Tanzania (badala ya “Capital city). Naamini wengi hawajajua matatizo na vichekesho vingine lukuki vilivyomo ndani ya kitabu hicho.

Acha nikumegee KIDOGO:

1. Uk 1 – Kuna maneno “Listen to the words and practice to pronounce them”. Neno “practice” ni makosa. Tanzania tunafundisha British English. Neno hili halifai hapa. Kosa hili lipo karibu kwenye kurasa ZOTE za kitabu.

2. Uk 13 – anayeongea hapa ni Furaha. Inakuwaje chini uweke daughter, son, baby wakati msemaji ni Furaha?

3. Uk 17 – Hivi, hizi nazo ni sentensi? “My father and my mother.” ---- “My brother, my young sister and I.” Kwenye jedwali la chini wanasema za kushoto ni sentensi. Ni kweli?

4. Uk 24 – sentensi ya 3 inasema: “She likes washing.” Ukisoma tu unajua haijatimia.

5. Uk 25 – sentensi ya 4 inasema: “He likes riding bicycle.” Hebu soma hii uone kama ni nzuri: “I like reading book.” ---- Basin a ya kwao iko hivyohivyo. Broken English.

6. Uk 28 – Instruction inasema: Complete the sentences (NYINGI) by looking at the picture (MOJA????)

7. Uk 31 – Instruction inasema: Look and speak about the picture. –neno about linaenda na ‘speak”. Hivyo, ukiondoa zoezi la ku-speak (yaani, speak about) kitakachobaki ni “Look the picture”. Unaonaje Kiingereza hicho?

8. Uk 45 – Instruction inasema: Look at the pictures (NYINGI) and complete the word (MOJA????).

9. Uk 50 – Eti, “donkey” ni wild animal?

11. Uk 58 – Instruction inasema: “Name the pictures by touching (A) and by pointing (B).---- Kwa hiyo hapo ame-touch A na ku-point B?

12. Uk 59 -60 --- hebu isome habari hii ambayo wanaita “story” kisha uone: (1) kama kweli ni story (2) kama aya ya 1 & 2 zina ushirikiano wowote. Mimi naona ni kama mtu amechukua nguo na vyombo vya jikoni kisha akaweka vyote sandukuni. --- Na kondoo nao wanawaita sheeps. duh!

13. Uk 66-67 -- Instruction inasema: Complete the sentences. ---- hata uki-complete, je, unachopata ni sentensi kweli?

Yaani: A fat cow and a thin cow; A bottle full of water and an empty bottle; Wet clothes and a dry clothes – ni sentensi?? Achilia mbali kwamba ya tatu inasema: a dry clothes!!

14. Uk 69 - Instruction inasema: “Listen and say the colours ….” --- Do we really say colours?

15. Uk 127 – Instruction inasema: Look at the insects: ---- sikujua kuwa siku hizi hata ua na jongoo nao ni insects.

Kwa mwendo huu, naona giza mbele ya safari. Nahisi vitabu hivi vinaweza kufaa kufanyia comedy lakini sio kufundishia watu watakaopeleka taifa letu mbele kwenye ulimwengu huu wa sayansi na teknolojia.
 
Kwanza naomba kuuliza hivyo vitabu vinakuja na audio ta kusikiliza?

Pia ni maneno yako hayo au ya gazetini?

Kuna masahihisho pia kusaidia hata mwanafunzi akisoma gazeti ajue lipi ni lipi?

binadamu unaweza kua umepewa ubongo wa kufikiri na macho ya kuona lakini havitumiki ipasavyo
bora usiwe navyo kabisa.

Ujiangalie wewe, umeshindwa kujibu maswali hayo ungepita kimya kimya tu.

Hata hayo yaliyochambukiwa hapo, mbona mengine yameachwa...basi andika wewe kivizuri...

Tatizo lipo kubwa sana ktk teaching and material material development. Nafkiri ni wakati sasa vyuo vianze program za kufundisha material development.
